This is one of the few things I disliked about GT. Giving other folks time to shine would have been great. Let Goku get some healing while Gotenks and Gohan stall, *then* give SS4 its W. I'm a GT defender, at least of its massive potential, but GT really didn't need to stand for Goku Time.
To be fair a better excuse would have been that they were too weak since they hadn't trained in a while and the metamorian dance specifically is a weaker like addition while the earrings would be equal to multiplication.
They should fusion and pass their energy to goku, it would receive far more. But i kinda get, because gotenks is a little arrogant, and could change is mind to attack without thinking. This goku is far smarter then in Dragonball super and better. The Shadow Dragon Saga should've saw **ALL OF THE Z FIGHTERS** chipping in to take out each Shadow Dragon. And we should have gotten fusion somewherr during that arc. Or at the very least, in the Super 17 Arc. With Goku in Hell and the Z Fighters stuck fighting Super 17, it would've been a good moment to bust out fusion even if it would be to buy time till Goku returns. I hate that Gotenks, who was at one point of time the Earth's final hope, is reduced to a joke that Toriyama and Toyotaro love to give the spotlight too. Yea, we loved to laugh at Gotenks but we also loved seeing moments where he would lock in and handle business. Like when he came out of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and told Super Buu he was deadmeat for killing everyone. We loved Gotenks because he wouldn't just talk the talk, but would walk the walk. Now all he is is just talk. Then Super comes and retcons End of Z, aging Goten & Trunks backwards into kids again. Gotenks gets a whole moment dedicated to a 1-on-1 against Beerus while everyone else jobs to him. He has to fight Copy Vegeta who he has no shot at winning against. And right when we could've gotten an Adult Gotenks in Super, we get Fat Gotenks not once. **BUT TWICE** (in the DBS Manga after the Superhero Arc where Goten & Trunks spar against Gohan, they screw up the fusion dance again after saying "we've been practicing so more screw ups"). And now with Daima, we're seeing these guys age backwards **AGAIN** into babies? Its a shame that only SDBH gives us Adult Gotenks.
You know what would've been sick?? During that battle royal on Beerus Planet, when you had Goku, Gohan and Vegeta fight. Instead of fighting Broly individually, they should've done the fusion dance RIGHT, and had Gotenks ssj3 go against a ssj Broly. Would've made up for Gotenks's goof ups 😅

One of the problems with GT. They had set ups where it would have made sense to split up, the galaxy arc, the dragon arc. But they never did it.

i feel like people forget that if they boys just trained more it would make gotenks stronger too. which means that he’d have the potential of Vegito or Gogeta
The Shadow Dragon Saga should've saw **ALL OF THE Z FIGHTERS** chipping in to take out each Shadow Dragon. And we should have gotten fusion somewherr during that arc. Or at the very least, in the Super 17 Arc. With Goku in Hell and the Z Fighters stuck fighting Super 17, it would've been a good moment to bust out fusion even if it would be to buy time till Goku returns.
I hate that Gotenks, who was at one point of time the Earth's final hope, is reduced to a joke that Toriyama and Toyotaro love to give the spotlight too. Yea, we loved to laugh at Gotenks but we also loved seeing moments where he would lock in and handle business. Like when he came out of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and told Super Buu he was deadmeat for killing everyone. We loved Gotenks because he wouldn't just talk the talk, but would walk the walk. Now all he is is just talk.
Then Super comes and retcons End of Z, aging Goten & Trunks backwards into kids again. Gotenks gets a whole moment dedicated to a 1-on-1 against Beerus while everyone else jobs to him. He has to fight Copy Vegeta who he has no shot at winning against. And right when we could've gotten an Adult Gotenks in Super, we get Fat Gotenks not once. **BUT TWICE** (in the DBS Manga after the Superhero Arc where Goten & Trunks spar against Gohan, they screw up the fusion dance again after saying "we've been practicing so more screw ups"). And now with Daima, we're seeing these guys age backwards **AGAIN** into babies? Its a shame that only SDBH gives us Adult Gotenks.

During that battle royal on Beerus Planet, when you had Goku, Gohan and Vegeta fight. Instead of fighting Broly individually, they should've done the fusion dance RIGHT, and had Gotenks ssj3 go against a ssj Broly. Would've made up for Gotenks's goof ups 😅
@@taecampus would've been better for that mini-arc if Piccolo and Pan were taken to Beerus' planet too. Then, we could get Goku vs Gohan, Vegeta vs Piccolo and Broly vs Gotenks.
Goku vs Gohan cuz, well, that's what we've been looking forward to forever now. Even though, realistically, Gohan should not be able to win against his dad. Lets be real. Ever since Goku gained God Ki, the gap between him and Gohan has widened. Goku has been training ever since Battle of Gods and onward. While Gohan has slacked off and spent 80% of Super chasing after his old peak level...Goku has spent almost every arc breaking his limits. Beast should not be enough to close the gap between Gohan at his current best and Goku at his current best. But Gohan wouldn't care as he has a point to prove. That finally he can make up for his mistakes. Make up for slacking off. He can now protect Earth while his dad and Vegeta is away.
Vegeta vs Piccolo. Isn't it crazy they haven't fought yet? Well nows a good as time as any. Piccolo would now have the power to back up his strategies. He could maybe keep Vegeta on his toes and surprise the Prince
Broly vs Gotenks. It would be a good learning experience for Broly. Learning to control his power against a pair of Saiyans weaker than him. Meanwhile, Goten and Trunks finally get fusion down and give us Adult Gotenks. Maybe they can show us how they've learned from their mistakes in the face of a stronger opponent? And not take up 75% of a chapter dedicated to Goku vs Gohan

In DBSSH Goten and Trunks grew into their age and they didn't even introduce Uub they only just spoke of him being the reincarnation of Majin Buu.
They are not exactly the main cast in Super either
