Best I’ve seen yet. No useless dialogue. Great mix of ground and flight fight scenes. Simple cinematography. Superb wardrobe. I could go on and on. Thanks for this. As someone who grew up watching Dragon Ball Z on Cartoon Network in the US, I can sense there’s a lot of passion and hard work that went into this. It harnesses the true essence of DBZ.

I like the use of other DB stories instead of the standard Goku time line. This needs to be done more in cinema. Everyone and their gandmother knows the story of uncle ben, bruce waynes parents, grampa gohan and so on. The industry is starting to recognize this. Could have deviated a bit more, but all in all really good concept. I can see netflix bagging it.

The makers of the Dragonball movie made needs to take some advice from these fan made movie makers. Aside of skipping through a lot and only really making this a quick show of all the heroes and villains this was actually really good. Dragon Ball series is like a really good series that could be made into a lot of movies or perhaps tv show but at least hour long. Goku was amazing. He constantly wanted to be better. All his different levels he would reach just when you thought he was going to be defeated.

This is a not only awesome but an almost accurate movie about dragon ball z: the history of trunks but I only have a few criticisms about this movie
1. Future gohan lost his arm later on during another battle with the androids vs trunks and gohan.
2. Trunks never lost his mom until during dragon ball super when goku black shows up.
3. Trunks never faced perfect cell until when he was in the past.
But overall a great movie and the most accurate one just a few things off but it’s still awesome.

Why are live action Dragon Ball films so difficult to make? because the producers were very confused about the right hair design for live action. The selling point of Dragon Ball is in the hairstyle of each character. If you remove the hairstyle, the Dragon Ball impression will disappear and vice versa, if you follow the animation design it will look very cute.

Pretty damn good, cell was my only complaint... His animation/effect just didn't seem to fit the rest of the movie, but other than that absolute amazing (for the record not saying I would have done better)

Ngl, first 3/4ths was relatively good. A little disjointed cinematography wise and skips a lot of the needed story and backstory for those not familiar with the source material, but overall...a little bit better than the hollywood attempt following a plot line that never really gets explored. That last segment though? we went from a somewhat decent interesting short film project, directly into a animecon cosplay commercial and indirectly killed the first 45/50 minutes of good footage. if you are going to continue with this, please drop the end segment and continue further with the trunks storyline in the same cinema format, yet set in the past, post time jump.
This was better than the original movie.
