These are amazing! I just graduated and started at a busy salon. The other ladies try to help me, but videos like this that are so detailed and not rushed are a godsend! Thank you!
that’s so awesome 🥰 glad you enjoyed!
Me too!!! Just got licensed in June!!! Color theory is crazy
You are amazing and I pray you keep making these education packed videos for anyone who wants to learn about how to do hair the RIGHT WAY and wants to be able to connect with an excellent hairdresser such as yourself!! I’m not a professional hairdresser but I have many friends who have been in this industry for literally 30+ years and some are even salon owners themselves now. I’ve been their Guinea pigs oh I mean state board models, been models for every service imaginable throughout their assistantships. I also have worked on the administrative/retail side in a few higher end salons and couple all this with my natural curiosity for learning a little bit about almost everything and I’ve been on a lifelong journey to figure out how to keep my baby fine thinner blonde hair from breaking/falling flat looking like I never washed it etc.
I love how passionate you are about your profession and I love it that you are getting so much positive feedback and gratitude from young stylists just coming out of cosmetology school in need of a SERIOUS PERSON WHO IS WILLING TO FREELY SHARE HER KNOWLEDGE AND ASSIST WITH EDUCATING to LIFT ANOTHER STYLISTS GAME UP instead of withholding the info.
I have found a new channel to binge watch and learn about how to make my own 52 years old hair look like a happy shiny bright blonde again and I thank you for it 🎉
25:55 😊
I love these butter blonde colors.
Loved this 😀I love the science part u popped in there so educational for all 😃Thanku for sharing all your tuition .. looking forward to the next 💖👍🏼
Loving these videos! You're an excellent instructor.
Great content without over loading or complicating the processes.
Ill be doing this step by step on my own hair.
Thank you!!!
I love all your videos !! I’m a newer stylist so all these videos are like gold to me.
Beautiful!!! So informative 💜 loved this video!
omg i absolutely love these please do more
That’s turned out gorgeous ❤️
Getting straight to it You Are Awesomeness !!! Great communicative skills learned alot
I am probably the oldest hairstylist that loves your videos. How is your little girl? Your PH balance in the levels of hair was so educational. Water is hard on hair. Diabetics and lots of medication can change the chemistry of the hair. I have had older clients that a week or 2 after a perm I wet the hair to wash it beautiful perm no problems no knotting on hair loss and when I wet their hair it will knot up or start to come out in strands. Definitely a PH. 10 or anti snap work well. Thanks again for your time . Excellent care products help but sometimes people won’t spend the money.
i’m glad you love my videos🥰 I know I have all ages watching😋 and I agree, home care with products is so important! keeping the hair moisturized and using heat protectants help a ton! along with olaplex treatments 💗
Love this so much!
Gorgeous result!😍 Keep it up sis love from Germany👋
You knocked it out the park beautiful work
thank you 💗💗
Love this colour x
Truely amazing at what you do 🙂thank you for sharing
You do an absolutely beautiful job of highlighting. Speaking from the experience of curly girl who tangles regularly, it's often best to detangle from the bottom working eventually up to the roots.
You should never detangle from the top if you have long hair. I hate to go to salons and the ladies start combing the wet hair from the top😤😤😤
thank you so much for these videos! going to cosmo school in two weeks!!!
yay, so exciting 🥰💗
Greatttt video!!!
You are so talented and wonderful ❤
thank you ❤️❤️
Beautiful thank you! ♥️And yes her money piece is poppin 😭
Love your channel
Hey beautiful! Just wondering on how you just know what foil placement to do/switch it up in an easy way, I love the angel foils but I just feel I can’t do it probably but I’m for sure trying this! Thank you!
Wow this video have amazing information thank you.
Glad it was helpful! Go to wholyhair.com if you want to get on the waiting list for my future classes💗
Help on teasing super fine hair! Thank you!
spray a little texture spray on it first💗
@@WholyHair thank you! I hadn’t even thought of that!!! ♥️
Love this 😢just had m6 hair done & it sooo messed uo🫣
Thank you so much for these videos!! I have a silly question as i haven’t done color since beauty school but will be going back soon, but I’m basically trying to remember the order that you do things at the shampoo bowl, so you pull out the foils and can shampoo then tone, and then do you rinse out the toner and just condition afterwards or do you wash again and then condition? Thanks :)
Thank you so much 💚
Thank you so much .. may I ask What lightner did you use and what vol developer??
How do you measure out toners, to do a strand test? Just a tad of product & developer? To make a tiny mixture?
🙃
Thanks 🙏🏻
My favorite
Thank you for sharing your tips and tricks!! I appreciate it from a seasoned hairdresser of 27 years! Do you share what toner you use on yourself?
Also, I use Redken! Have you used the Redken generics they have started selling at Sally's? If so what are your thoughts?
I use 10P/10VG on my hair and maintain the tone with purple shampoo! 💗 no, I haven’t seen that at sally’s! i’ll have to check it out
@@WholyHair thank you so much!❣ check it out! I'll be watching for a video 😜
Beautiful , Thank you!
Can anyone please suggest shades eq for a high 7 mostly yellow ( NO ASHY LOOK) hope for golden/ warmer / beachy blonde?
May go combination T-11 T-18….. not sure which way to go.
😕😂🙏🏻
Thank you!
Do you recommend teasy clients without layers in their hair?
I learned way more from ur videos than my 1000 hours in cosmetology school lol thank u so much for posting these! 🤗 What developer do u typically use and what is ur mixing ratio ?I love doing highlights and lightener it's what I want to specialize in
that’s amazing💗 thank you for the encouragement, comments like these keep me creating ☺️
I just watched ur root touch up and it answered my question. Blonde me is def the best!
Curious if your brush is one of the new jz styles brushes. I’m wondering if the brush is soft or is it the harder plastic bristles?
i’m using the surface brushes! they’re nice and soft! I haven’t tried the jz ones
Awesome
Woo this video help me..but what is the highlights placement..I have seen lots of placements but don't understand
I have a few placement videos over on my channel!
With the teasy lights, how did you know to choose to give that client that specifically? What was the consultation like? What key points make someone a good candidate for teasy lights ? Thank you.
The teasy lights give a softer look at the root and makes for a more seamless grow out. Someone who wants a natural and rooted look would be great for teasy lights!
Do you recommend gloss to gel or that regular, liquidy Shades EQ toner developer? I would do it at home, and I am wondering what is easier for at home use on your own hair???😊
I use gloss to gel a lot! just depends on how thick you want it
@@WholyHair Thank you.
what brand/type of foils are those?
Hi holey what bleach you us can you tell what developer you us
Gorgeous
Specular😍😍😍😍😍😍
I need the basics
😍😍😍😍👍👍🙏
Because you used cool toner, why doesn’t the hair gray too cool, if left on for 15/20 minutes?? Thank you.
I think because a lot of her hair was left at a level 6. So the level 10s have a hard time toning that. The highlights were toned ashy but the mixture of low and highlights wouldn’t necessarily have a gray cool look overall. I think. Maybe if she used a darker toner.
@@TracyD2 hi
Can I use 9’s on level 7?
Thank you!
Hi holey what blesch you us with lot. Hiholey what is natural hear color what bleach you us can you tell tru
*messed up
Please, don’t pinch the foil in half after you applied the highlight because it will cause demarkation line on the finish product. Also, don’t fold both sides of foil. Leave one side open to prevent bleed. If you pinch both sides, the bleach will expand and bleed.
I've never had those issues, I have always closed the foil so they stay in place better and I can fit in more highlights that way! But it must depend on the lightener you use.
Grab not gray
Omg I CRINGE when I see people brushing through hair with lightener still on 😥
Awesome
