  • Each variable in JASP is assigned a level of measurement (nominal, nominal text, ordinal, or scale). We learn how to change or set those levels and how to set and adjust value levels for categorical variables. I cover whether we have to set levels and how setting levels benefits us. This is the third in a series introducing statistics students to exploring statistics with JASP.
    Chapters
    0:00 Introduction
0:24 Open a JASP dataset from the Data Library (debug)

Your videos are valuable! Have you developed other videos in addition to those 1 to 6 videos? could you please let me know? I would watch all of them. You explain the work with JASP so clearly and save my time. Thank you so much!

Is there a way to change multiple columns' variable type without having to change them one by oen?

Can you change more than one variable at a time? i.e. Can you select a number of variable columns and change them all at the same time from ordinal to scale for example?

Not at this time. You have to change each one. I suspect that as the R console in JASP is improved, you will eventually gain that ability.
