Hello Sir... I'm from India and professionally a Pharmacologist but in love with Streetphotography, would you recommend G85 / G95 for this purpose in 2022 ??? Need to have your advise.
Hi, yes I definitely recommend this camera. It’s light, good ergonomics, beautiful image quality, weather sealed, and cheap! Also GX9 is great for street photography.
Nice colours coming out of the camera, but boy it really doesn't like capturing moving objects. I think this is caused by focus - I've seen it on lots of cameras, not just in this situation - There is so much weird pixelation and artefacting going on here. Have you tried it in 4K?? Love that you are out and about. NYC looks so vibrant. What an exciting place to live. Keep doing what you are doing. You should intersperse your video with more photos and add a little music here and there to help break it up a bit. Cheers, for letting me know about your channel and use of the G95. BEST REGARDS, Campbell from NZ.
Are you talking about in the video parts? That’s all shot on a GoPro Hero 9. There is no Panasonic footage in this video. Also the pixelation is courtesy of RUclips compression.👍🏻 Thanks for watching.
@@joeltunnah LOL - sorry I saw the title and thought this was one of your G95 videos :P I actually looked at DP review video tool again. The G95 video is definitely better than the G85 (I don't know what I was thinking). Stills look more similar. G95 colours (on the tool anyway) are very different from G9... but who knows what they are now after various software updates!!??
@@actstuntcam this was a G95 *stills* video. FYI, I always put the cameras and equipment used in the video description. Processing might be slightly different between G9 and G95, but it’s the same sensor. I don’t look at dpreview tests because they exaggerate small differences you’d likely never see in real life. I have no doubt I could get great photos from any m4/3 camera, and if it hadn’t been on sale for $797, I might have stuck with my EM5 iii. G9 feels much bigger to me, and I didn’t care for the chunky grip.
@@joeltunnah Fair enough, a good reason to get something is that you like it and I'm glad you are enjoying the G95. I wasn't suggesting for a second that you shouldn't enjoy your camera choice, it just isn't for me. I'm surprised you ditched your Olympus for the G95 though - they look really good as does the EM1mk2. I should have read the description properly, just kind of clicked on a video quickly based on title and thought it was shot on the G95. Yep, I agree that most modern cameras create pretty decent images. I'm just trying to get the best bang for buck. Where you are the G95 might make good sense as a purchase. It is just too expensive here. I've seen a mint condition secondhand XT4 for the same money I can get the G95 for - The G95 just doesn't make sense to purchase in New Zealand. (Your price of $797 was good value - that is what a G85 costs here) in your money, the G95 is $1000 here in New Zealand - I just don't think it is worth that when there are better cameras for the money, here. I looked at importing from overseas, but it actually ends up costing almost double after shipping and taxes, so it still makes sense for me to buy locally. Anyway, I definitely didn't mean to offend you. Super sorry if I did. BEST REGARDS, Campbell from NZ.
@@actstuntcam I didn’t ditch my EM5.3, I love that camera. I have both. The EM5.3 is $1000US here, body only. Now that I think is a bit overpriced, and I would say if you’re getting the G95 with the nice 12-60mm lens for the same money, that’s still a good deal.
How do you achieve the film like look with your photos? It looks great!
Just editing in Lightroom. But I think at that time I was using DxO PhotoLab. I prefer Lightroom. Thank you.
Moscow is watching 👍👍👍

@@joeltunnah Thank you so much Sir for your kind advise. I'll go for it. I'll be in touch with you Sir. Have a wonderful time ahead .
Do you think the g95 focus in photo mode is reliable?
Focus is great. It's a wonderful camera.

I missed the music.
Hey Iain, this was an experiment with using some lo-fi hip hop. Probably go back to straight jazz next video. Thanks for watching.👍🏻
