OK, I saw this "BW Special" when it ORIGINALLY AIRED, and thought to myself, "She's ADORABLE," and I was soooooo SYMPATHETIC toward her when she spoke about her father!!!! What is interesting about this is she ends up meeting and getting together with Kurt Russell 1 year later. They are still together 27 years later. He is her soul mate. It shows how much our lives can change so quickly. You can tell she feels a void, and sad her marriage didn't work out. And she has no idea she is about to have the love she always wanted.
They met back when they made the movie, something about a "Genuine original family band" Can't remember the exact name right now.... Goldie and Kurt met then as teenagers.... It had Walter Brennan in it... Reminded me of "The Music Man." I saw it as a small child when my feet wouldn't touch the ground in those plush movie theater seats.

At 3:54 i heard her talking (only heard) and i could have sworn i'm hearing Kate. I had to stop what i was doing to rewind. I know mother/daugher have the same style of talking but this identical voice just floored me. If i didn't see Goldie talking i would never believe it wasn't Kate.
