I love flying the classics!
Hey hey hey- I was alive when the Centuri Vulcan came out ! I actually had one from the first offering too - thanks for sharing the Vulcan flight. Brings back great memories. Your videos are enjoyable to watch and very appreciated.
This Vulcan model would be even greater when upscaled larger !!
What a great looking rocket. Planning to build one shortly. Great flight!
Good. They sell an upscaled version. I think it's 'More Rockets'???
Nice! I really love this model!
It's a nice one. I got lucky a couple years ago guy was getting rid of it
What a great launch! That brings back wonderful memories!
Always love a Centuri flight. Think I have the parts of shroud for the X-24 bug. Need to get that out to you with other things.
Keep em launching
Cool! You must hace been happy to find the video.
Beautiful vintage model rocket. Has it flown again since? How to changebuts flight trajectory?
Ever try to launch the old X-24 Bug ?
No I don't have that one. I'll have to look it up
Hi Keith... I really enjoy your videos... I am currently in bed fighting cancer and cant make it to launch rockets, so love your channel and videos! Just wanted to drop you a note how much I like your videos!
Wishing you a speedy recovery, healing and blessings. I'm glad the videos are enjoyable for you. 🙏🏾🚀 💪
Good thing only the file was lost and not the rocket :).
Yes it went right 8nto the jungle end of the park. 🌳🌳🌳
Any idea why the B4-4 you tried to ignite 3 times never would go?
Im not sure. I think my last one the igniter slipped, but did burn. The 1st 2 just wouldn't go
Centuri is estes poor cousin.
Actually, some of their kits were better than Estes back in the day. Their Saturn V was better in every way being more reliable, their larger V-2, and Little Joe II. Loved their answer to Big Bertha, their Centurion too. Plus they were the only ones to have the MX-774 at the time.
@@rosswarren436 I had a kit back in 77, it was ok...
@@Workerbee-zy5nx yeah, I'm glad there were two "biggie" rocket companies in the early 1970s. I think each one made the other better by the competition. I loved Centuri's Lectra launch controllers better than Estes too (and their angled blast deflectors which caused less fin burn than Estes' plates). Estes had more kits and was generally everyone's introduction to model rocketry, but Centuri had their place, along with some of the smaller players of the day. Think Cox got into it late after being known more for their RC (using lines) airplanes, and MPC. Here in NC we had Semroc get started by Carl Lawhorn in Raleigh out of his dorm room at NC State. Think my first kit was a Semroc bought at a local hobby shop, then I got an Estes Alpha. Fun times.
Centuri is great lol. Lee Piester the creator start the company as a project in college. Then sold to Estes later🚀🚀 Centuri and Estes are both great
