- Yes another Project! This rare prodrive Astra sri turbo 190 was sitting on a driveway for years until i rescued it. Now for a clean up to its former glory.
There was only 500 made of these and around 250 left on the road.

Good vid man, from Australia here I own a 2003 holden astra SRI turbo. Identical colour. Must say absolute weapon, here our SRI turbos are optioned with Full leather interior, heated seats, sunroof and all the other good things

I’ve got a mark mk4 Astra 1.8 SRI i’ve had it about 10 years but parks it in the mother in laws garage for years ago planning on pulling out this summer And starts working on it it’s just having the time to do it

Good find, these certainly are rare, I've worked for Vauxhall for years, and remember these brand new, the dealer I worked for had 2 in black.

The forerunner to the GSi.. if I remember rightly these were built to gauge interest before they built the GSi... a mates Dad had one in red.. they only made them in silver, red and black I think.

My nan had one of these. Silver too but was completely OEM bar the wheels and rear lights. I cant remember why she had it tbh. Didn't drive it very fast 😂 but did get done for 97mph in a 70 when she was in her late 60s 😂

Love seeing the astra project's Aaron. My older bro had an 02 plate Sri from new, it's been rotting on drive for years now, misfired and loom is damaged I think.

Keep the irmsy grill because it was a factory option when new.
There is also a irmsy grill released at the same time with a chrome letter "i" in which is on my car.
The glue that came with the grill is great because the chrome "i" has not come off the grill in 15 years haha.
My car is rarer than this a 1999 red astra 2.0 16v sri 3 door with just 96 left on the road with non ac from factory that gives it a little bit of extra power which makes it extremely rare as most of the others have got it as standard.
All standard and no mods and had it 16 years.
138,000 miles and uses no oil at all and runs perfectly smooth.
Put mobil 1 fully synthetic from 45,000 miles when i bought it in 2004 from thurlby motors alford.
Yep great cars these astra's are quality made too with a thick guage of steel all around.
You cannot push the metal in like you can with modern cars.

Hi mate i have a zafira gsi 2004 69000 miles. Yesterday car cut out yesterday and wont start low compression. Timing belt is still turning but seems the cam has snapped. What damage will there be . Thanks in advance

you seem to know quite abit about engines, so have you any idea why my z16xe rattles and knocks like a bag of spanners when under load, hot or cold, if i pull away from a standing start or accelerate with the engine at anything less than about 1700rpm. other than that it seems fine ?

Aaron what do you think about b204s in the astra?? I had one before as the original engine shat itself it actually worked out cheaper to buy and fit a b204 with the power I ended up running 370hp nice and safe with just basic bolt ons.

I have a red (pink) sri-t and low mileage gsi so if your liking clean cars more these days you might appreciate and want to check out my gsi if you get a min on Instagram😀 neither are big power tho😥

I dont think you have your numbers right there are more than 500 TS SRI Turbos in the world i was just looking at one on ebay in brisbane Australia in mint condition for $4,200 AU $ anyway whatever there is no money in cars , i just shut down my Automotive business because it ran at a loss and im sick of being poor from CARS , waste of time
