    I wonder if it's possible to make the notes slightly sharp. This tends to make the vocal more 'exciting', and is especially useful for choruses.

    • @xNELVKALEN
      @xNELVKALEN 8 лет назад

      +CrankCase08 just toggle off snap notes and you can position the notes basically anywhere you desire :P
      OR you can select the notes individually with the pointer and drag up and down the note

    • @Bruno_2
      @Bruno_2 4 года назад

      On Audacity, I got it to track the pitch by switching the "Source" button from "Host" to "Internal", then clicking the rewind and play button. My problem now is that when I click "apply" after everything is done, the result saved on audacity is nowhere near as good as what's on the plugin itself, still doing some research about it.

    Wavelab 6 is a fully compatible DAW to Antares Autotune. Yet when I go into graphical mode it only tracks the pitch by using Internal not Host. Why? Because of this the time isnt sync and causes destortion when playing in mid way. I have to play the track from the beginning to hear the edited vocals without the destortion.

      you can get a program called key finder and import the wav or mp3 of the raw music, it will tell you the key, then just set autotune to that key and you should be golden.

    • @canigetayass5912

      You can do what he said but I rather use an instrument and find the key. Then find what scale by doing a major and minor and seeing what is better for the song from the instrumental and voice together. This is how I do it. I also suggest you learn music theory. It will make you way better.

    I'm using Audacity with this plugin, I can't find tutorials for Auto-Tune specialized in Audacity cause everyone just keeps uploading that shit Gsnap (which actually includes literally 12 things to modify).
    To graph the pitch of an audio I did the same thing you did, but I hit play while the ''track pitch'' button is activated and the red graph line thing that's supposed to appear and ''register'' the pitch doesn't come up. I tried with a clean acapella and it still didn't appear.
    Any ideas? Please I've tried everything and don't know what to do.

    goguda55 Tech Tutorials can you use plug-ins like this and nectar in reason 7 because this gives you more features and hands on correction than neptune.

    • @goguda55
      @goguda55  10 лет назад

      Unfortunately, Reason 7 still doesn't support plugins, which is unfortunate. I agree that Auto-Tune gives more features and hands on correction than neptune. I also find that it sounds more natural; neptune seems to leave some sort of buzz in the audio. I've just been exporting my vocals into REAPER as audio files, tuning them, then importing them back into Reason. Kind of annoying, but it works.

      +goguda55 Tech Tutorials Hey bro.. Thanks for the Vst. Well, my name is Paul. I produce my music and I rap. I have a little problem, don't know if you could help. The problem is that, I've been working on a song for sometime (months), am satisfied with the mix but the issue is the singing part. Fitting my voice to the key of the music is the problem. I've used autotune and I either sound like a robot or sound like someone drowning. So I don't know what to do.Could you help?

    • @sethtaylor7519
      @sethtaylor7519 7 лет назад

      My suggestion would be to make a simple instrument (a pluck or something) and write the vocal melody with that. After you like what you have, learn to sing along with it. Now you can record your voice using the right notes and Auto-Tune should have to do less work making it sound much better if done right. :) Hope this helps!

      Many people say you can use Gsnap but that is just a fucking huge piece of shit. You can easily get Auto-Tune for free, this is the video I watched ruclips.net/video/-LN104wbZ_Q/видео.html I can confirm you 100% it doesn't contain any virus, easy to follow (you just literally have to open an installer and it'll do everything for you) and there is no single difference to the bought version.
      I look like an advertiser lol.
