Yes you're very right. I'm from India and I've followed this trial right from day 1 and spent many sleepless nights throughout the whole time watching it. Indeed an incredible event to say the least, with the verdict even more amazing. Love the judge, Johnny's team, the jury and all those who were there to support him all the way through this. Happy for him, happy for male victims of DV, IPV and DA. Hope that all justice systems of the world gets the message that men too could be victims sometimes.

It’s really disheartening to hear how she, her attorneys, her fans and even some “experts” on the news, are all saying how Johnny’s star power made a difference and how mountains of evidence she provided couldn’t help her against his fan base.
To be quite honest, when I heard that he had abused her, I was saddened by it, because I had heard he was a really great guy. I believed it, like many others.
As a survivor, I was ready to stand behind her.
Until she opened her mouth. Until I saw her mountain of evidence. Until I saw the pix of her injuries and the witness testimonies. Until I heard her recordings. She isn’t a victim. She’s the damned perpetrator!
Now people are downplaying Johnny’s trauma, and saying it’s because he had better attorneys, more fans to sway public opinion, more money.
I call BS on that. There were medical records and pictures to verify his side! For crying out loud, in that one picture of him lying on the stretcher with his hand bandaged and bloody, you can see where she put a cigarette out on his face!!!
I have had worse bruises than she showed by having dermatology appointments or having Botox. My black eyes were not able to be covered with makeup.
There is so much proof that that she’s been lying this whole time. I am ashamed of myself that I believed her years ago. And it really brought home that I judged someone after hearing only one side of the story. And automatically siding with the woman.
That won’t happen again. I have seen male DV victims, but only in same sex relationships.
Maybe now, if there is anything good about this, is that maybe other male victims will be strong enough to leave (or talk about) their situations.
Same, I'll be the first to admit that I automatically believed Amber Heard over Johnny which was a huge mistake on my part. After all the evidence came forth it was pretty real that Amber was the problem. I'll use this as a learning moment for the future to not based off superficial things
I also believed her to begin with. When the claims of him bashing her so badly it should have killed her didn't match with the bruises she claimed to have I realized it was crap. The way she said she was abused didn't make sense. Not when her injuries didn't match up with the level of brutality she tried so hard to convince us of. I grew up with domestic violence at the level this woman claims to have endured. I was later a victim of real domestic violence. I'd never deny support to a real DV survivor or victim. She's giving women a bad name, and Showing very well how male DV victims are ignored. Male DV victims are further abused by the law because all their abuser has to say is the man's a liar and he's the one in jail.

Never take a woman's word as a law just because she's a woman, that's the biggest mistake anyone could ever make. There are always two versions, justice has been made, a relief to other men who have been or are in Johnny's position - sons, husbands, fathers, brothers - who are targets of false accusations of this nature that also destroy lives. Depp had in his possession evidence that confirmed that she is an unscrupulous, unpalatable woman. How many other men go through the same, just aren't famous like him? That's a breath, a sign that the justice system isn't entirely dead. She went ahead with this with the certainty that would condemn him, especially with the media standard, social media court feminists and other dubious groups.

@@thurguud homie no, I was rooting for JD to get the truth out there and get justice. Unfortunately this wasn’t a criminal case so there will be no jail time for Amber at this point, and it’s very hard apparently to win a defamation case, which is what this case was, so the fact that he won made a huge shift in history I believe.
Hopefully more men can speak up now if they’re being abused and certain women can learn NOT to lay their hands on someone, especially their partner, and get consequences for doing so. I agree with you, I think you misunderstood what I meant :)

Also know that as soon as a goubernment agent in the judicial system has proof that a man threw 2 bottles severing a woman finger and punched her, he has to inmediately report it to a public prosecutor in criminal matters. Even the doctor at the hospital must report it if he finds indication. The public prosecutor must inmediately open a criminal case to punish the severe injuries and the domestic violence and stablish preventive measures if needed. Does not matter if the woman says she does not want to press charges, the case will be open the man would go to jail regardless of what she says. I say it again, in my country she deserves a minimum of 6 years and a half of prison. Why is she not facing any jail time?????????????????????

He won because he was famaus and it was televised, normal men are severely screwed if we maintain this kind of judicial process totally different for men and women. I totally agree that she should have paid with jail time but this was a libel lawsuit that he won proving his innocence. In this case justice was served because Amber was found liable for defaming Johnny. Definition of a civil lawsuit is when an individual have a disagreement involving what legal responsibilities they may or may not have with each other in this case a defamation lawsuit occurs when someone makes a false statement causing harm to his reputation. Criminal lawsuit involves felonies and misdemeanors, specific crimes with punishment attached. Get your story straight this was a civil lawsuit therefore justice was served. I’m a JD fan not a AH. You would assume that the realisation she had probably lost would have kept her away. However her narcissism compelled her to be present. Firstly she wanted the world's eyes on her at the great moment. Secondly she still clung to the deluded belief that the jury, despite all the evidence to the contrary, would believe her and find in her favour.
She did think she was going to win. When she's crying in the audio and saying she's going to die because Johnny wants to leave, she looks like she's closed to tears at that point, feeling sorry for herself in that audio, that she was heartbroken and Johnny was being the abuser, and this " mountain" of evidence she's had 🤣🤣. She's actually delusional. And she will not leave or there. I wouldn't put it past her to Dr some more images and claim she had just found them and try using them in the media again. I saw Elaine talking on tv this morning. She said something like, you have to have a video of the abuse taking place, before people will believe you. Well, as many times as Amber said JD hit her, or punched her in the face. You would think she would've had, not only better pictures of it, video too. You can get a voice activated tape recorders. Also, there are cameras, that are hidden in everyday knick knacks, that you sit around the house, that you can buy If people really want to prove, they were abused, in any way. They need to show better prof, than AH had shown to the court. They need to go to the hospital emergency room, to get check out too. Get documentation. I was think the courts would like to see documentation, after documentation, and not so much of a person crying abuse or rape, with lack of evidence. Anyone can cry abuse or rape. It don't always mean they are telling the truth.
I don't know if anyone caught this. AH on the stand, mention her gynecologist as one of the people, that had to be a certain way with her, because of the abuse. I thought she said, that she didn't go to any doctor, to get check out. I wonder, if the jury caught that too.
