@RobLandes It's taken quite a few videos for me to realize this is a real ad and this is a real law firm. I'm being completely honest. I thought it was a running gag to cut to a vintage ad where you're a lawyer (which I simply accepted but yeah, lol).

It's ridiculous that you are getting copyright strikes for the quick few seconds you listen to to learn a song. They're out of control.
You'd think people would be honored to be featured... If I put out a song, and they covered it, I would freak the fuck out.
I understand claiming a little revenue proportionate to the length of the video, but not outright BLOCKING it worldwide. That way they don’t get ad rev OR exposure. They won’t even let me trim out or mute the offending segments.
@@RobLandes I used to have a RUclips channel and I was constantly flagged for singing karaoke and personal covers even WITHOUT the original track being featured. I was using audio covers from groups like The Countdown Singers, not even the original artists. It got to the point that my whole channel was demonitized and constant strikes. 😢
@Haywood Jablomie I get what you're saying, but covers are still "original" content from someone. Make your own original cover and I think you should be all set. It's just how things work 🤷.
@@davidmckay9558 Yeah I know what you mean but I don't know how to play instruments. I was using the songs without lyrics. They were listed as Karaoke tracks so I thought it was okay
My best friend was a violinist.
She passed away 2 years ago, but I remember how she play for me on the New Year, she and I, and no one else.

Rob, you are one of my favorite youtubers. As someone who played violin growing up, I am inspired and in awe of how you do song requests and brighten people's days.
Talent... It's not only talent, it's skill. Skill that's achieved by practicing 28 hours a day 8 days of the week.
You guys need to do an album together. The piano and violin go so well together. This is epic stuff.

Wooooah the chops on that last guy! Old man made that harmonica sing and had such a fantastic attitude! I can't imagine the experience he gets from kids who don't appreciate the opportunity to hear him play. So for him to have that good of an attitude despite it all, and want to just meet people and play for them, that's crazy. I'm learning violin as an adult beginner, just a few years in. I hope I have that guy's attitude when I'm his age.

I was so impressed with what Harry Mack does on Omegle and then Marcus and Harry together. Then they added you into the mix and I was absolutely mind-blown. You hearted a comment that I had just posted not too long ago and I went and edited it because I misspelled Mack lol and it deleted the heart you gave me 😢
But I know that you saw it and that makes me so happy. Thank you for loving and supporting your fans as well. This world is so broken and what you're doing with your talent is bringing this world together. I am a singer and I stopped pursuing my dream after my mother passed away suddenly. I've recently started singing again at church and occasionally post on my own little channel but can't seem to get out of this weird depression and people like you and a few others really have motivated me to start again. I'm 42 years old and I have those intrusive thoughts that tell me I'm too old to Pursue my dreams but I'm going to stop listening to them and start dreaming again. I know this was long but just thank you. I really hope you know the positive effect you're having on this world right now

I have to tell you Rob, I heard you for the first time the other day from Harry Macks channel and I had to go looking for yours. I am absolutely moved to tears by the way you play. You make it a lot more personal because you look at the person in the video at times while you're playing. Oh my goodness my heart..... I'm going through so much mentally right now and I also just got a tooth pulled and had surgery on my mouth so I'm in a lot of pain but when I come to your videos and listen to both you and Marcus it brings joy to my life and just for a moment I'm not hurting. It ain’t new because it’s a reupload. It got blocked by copyrights so he took down the previous video and reuploaded a new edit of it. RUclips doesn’t really allow trimming or muting parts of the video after the upload so taking down the video and reuploading it with heavy edits is the best way to keep the channel clean and still have the video in the channel (and makes a bit of revenue even if most of it is lost because not everyone rewatch the full video)
