Made this with a few changes. Two chains instead of one. Fasten with slip stitch, slip stitch all the way to the first chain space. In the chain spaces where the yarn shows. Make sure it's a bit lose by grabbing with your finger and holding it against the chain on the position it will go. It will come out devine!
Sarah Marcotte no they don't, some are larger than others. In one of the videos she says u can stop if u want to make it the same size as the others.....I think she usually says if it's larger 🙂
+Nicole Owens It would depend on how big you would want your diamond to be. This video's diamond is a 4x4 square with a base of 2 rounds. To make the diamond bigger, you would have to do more base rounds. To go up one size: 3 base rounds, RND 4 would be... ch 4 (counts as a dc + ch 1), 3 dc in next ch 1 space, CHANGE color for the ch 1, then 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc in corner space. [side one] CHANGE color for the ch 1, 3 dc in next ch 1 space, ch 1, 3 dc in next ch 1 space, CHANGE color for the ch 1, then 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc in corner space. [side two] CHANGE color for the ch 1, 3 dc in next ch 1 space, ch 1, 3 dc in next ch 1 space, CHANGE color for the ch 1, then 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc in corner space. [side three] CHANGE color for the ch 1, 3 dc in next ch 1 space, ch 1, 3 dc in next ch 1 space, CHANGE color for the ch 1, then 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc in corner space. [side four] CHANGE color for the ch 1, 2 dc in next ch 1 space, sl st into 3rd ch of this round's beginning ch 4. RND 5 will have only one grouping of 3 dc of the diamond color on each of the four sides of the square. The resulting square will have a 6x6 diamond (square) in the center.
I have been hoping for this square for 130 days!
You always have beautiful designs. Thank you so much.
This one I found really quite tricky to hide the stragglers , but it would make a fantastic blanket . I just need a little practice xxx

thank so much
I love love them all ! :-)

Do all of the videos in this series make granny squares that are approximately the same size?

How could we make it bigger? Do we just keep repeating row 3 or?
+Nicole Owens I'm not exactly sure how to make the diamond part bigger, but the outer edge can be repeated to make the square a little bigger.
+Fuad Azmat / YARNutopia by Nadia ah, thank you 🙌🏻😇I started on a project and I love how it looks so far!
