@@TheStorytellersGuild1 When you read it, consider that, since it was many years ago and there was no community to guide me, I read secret history right after the final empire lol.
Elend being a Mistborn was essentially the ONLY issue I had with the books.....at first. I had another issue, but I'm holding off on that because you haven't gotten there yet. But, that second problem has fallen to the wayside because I appreciate what has happened since. Edit: I am really looking forward to your Warbreaker review, only because it slapped me across the face because I had read certain other books before it, and not after it. So you're going to have a different perspective than I did, and I can't wait for it.
“I am…unfortunately…” The Way of Kings is amazing. Just read this trilogy and take on this next one. Ignore the side stuff Vin got maxed out…but also became a god So did another guy
Totally agree with you on Elend and Spook. Making Elend a mistborn ruined that dynamic he had with Vin and he just became a bit boring in this book - there was never a sense that something could hurt him. And with Spook - he worked as a background character and maybe deserved a heroic moment but his sudden jump to the fore didn't really work for me. Still, this was a great conclusion and im keen to read more Sanderson after these 3 Mistborn books.
What is your favorite book of the Mistborn series?
Secret History
I’ll be reading it next!!

My favorite Mistborn book was Well of Ascension!
