This guide works, but it seems that some rounds rely heavily on Trojan RNG. Friendly reminder that you can always try to hit pause and exit to home whenever things look like they're going south. Then continue your saved game to try and get more favorable RNG.
October 2024: doesn't work anymore. Round per round you have slightly less gold. You can compensate some time with ability but 003 for Ace comes too late.

With just slightly more optimized farming I also got super mines on round 97… not that it was needed
