- In this Travel vlog, I and my friends go on a self camping trip to Vaitarna Dam. The Vaitarna River is a river in Nashik and Palghar district of Maharashtra. Vaitarna Dam, also called Modaksagar Dam, is a Gravity dams on Vaitarna river which supplies water to Palghar, Mumbai, but located in Palghar & Nashik district in the state of Maharashtra in India. It was opened in 1957
We are going on a over night camping trip where we carry our own camping tents, food & other camping essentials.

Theres not much around the location. Hotels are atleast 15-20mins drive away. If you plan to camp there, you should take all basic amenities with you and preferably go in your own private car. It is a known camping spot so no issues from locals or any threats as such.
Did u guys had to take any permissions for camping?
Nope. This is a actually a famous spot for camping. I dont think there is any authority here to take permission from. Not is it some restricted/private property
