Holy cow, been using my Avid Armor chamber sealer (different model) for a few years now and didn't know about the puffy bag thing. My unit has been doing this since day one and I've wondered why it doesn't remove all the air from the bag so THANK YOU!. Now, it's just a matter of waiting for you to get the 8 x 10 bags back in stock.
As long as the lid gasket is in good shape, the lid will most likely be able to draw down on its own without the need to apply pressure. Our larger chamber the USV32 does need pressure applied for the sealer to start to vacuum. Thanks!

Curious if need you put a little pressure on the lid on the start up.
