The author of the first two books, Caroline Kepnes, is about to finish the third part of the story and gave us some insight of what we can expect from his relationship with Love, and whether he is ready to stop murdering people.
According to the writer, while trying to build a relationship with a girl who was so close spiritually to her twin-brother, Joe realizes that further on he should be the one with the family.
So, we are waiting for the sequel of the book and the show!

Love is not a Baker , she is a filmmaker/actress (still rich), she doesn't have those 3 friends from the show , she is probably not batshit crazy (she didn't kill anyone in book2, but she did filled $25,000 worth of champagne in bathtub just to impress Joe(he was maddened by this) on their first date).
I wish they didnt rewrite most of the book in the tv series I wish they used the entire book on the tv series
Nah i like how the show is, But whenever the show ends and the actor of Joe looks more... gritty they should do it like the book
I think the show is better in terms of establishing Joe's character. I haven't read the book but from the videos I have watched until now, in the books it seems like he is just a cold-hearted murderer, but in the show his character is not merely one dimensional. So I prefer the show.

Wow, they changed Joe a lot in the show. I honestly didn't start to have sympathy and empathy for Joe until season 3. For the longest time I wanted him to get caught until I saw the little humanity he showed in Season 3. I want to read the books, I have a feeling I might enjoy them more

But you can understand why he killed them and the others he killed you also hated them

This comment reminds me in the show when Joe's having a conversation with Forty, and after Joe says something in commentary, Forty's like "It is creepy when you get silent like that.."
Reminds me of a video that put a scene without the monologue. And then you realize that most of the time, Joe just weirdly look at people without saying anything.
