Since they don't have individually extendable legs, they don't work on uneven surfaces, though if it's just a bit off level, you could compensate with the camera's angle itself. If you need one that can handle quite uneven or rough surfaces then you might need a regular tripod.
@@AskDaveTaylor No. My concern is to be able to use the rear-facing camera. All the videos that I've seen about this tripod/selfie-stick shows using only the front-facing/selfie camera. I would like to be able to use the much better rear-facing camera when using this Omotion tripod for group shots...with myself in the shot.
Ah, got it. Yeah, as long as you can figure out how to have the camera in the tripod mount without it obscuring the rear camera lens, you should be golden!
Thanks. My plan would be to attach it to the Omotion tripod the usual way using the MagSafe but point the whole tripod and the rear-facing camera towards the group being photographed. I just hope that the MagSafe part of the tripod that connects to the iPhone does not show up in the photo.
Ahhh that makes sense. I no longer have the unit in house or I would test it out for you. Good luck and let us know how it works if you proceed,@@slgr7
Hi, I like your current content, do you review other tech gadgets like outlet hidden camera?
I would be happy to evaluate such products as long as they're not creepy/stalkery. Vendors should email me with questions. 🙂
Thanks for the review. How does this work on an uneven surface?

Thanks for sharing. How’s it holding up so far?
I get so much gear, I don't tend to stick with any one device for long, so can't say how it works long term. Seems pretty well made, tho!
Can you put the phone on the tripod portrait mode?
Absolutely! The footage at 2:59 shows the result, as does the subsequent footage!
Will this tripod work to take group shots with the rear-facing camera of the iPhone 15 Pro Max?
I expect it would. Is your concern the size of the phone?
