I purchased the wee descaling item but it doesn't do anything. Have tried this, finally got the green light but still not working as in I've put in s coffee pod but nothing is happening

Omg. I had to descale my machine twice and was contemplating on buying a new machine as I thought my machine was gone lol. This trick worked for me and was so easy to follow. Thanks a lot dude.

Excellent that worked even though I have a slightly different model. The thing that really peed me off was that their own advice site says it happens because I probably "missed a step" or "didn't use enough water" even though I used their OWN video on descaling and followed the instructions TO THE LETTER 😡

Happened pretty quick (less than 100 coffees) and exactly when i needed coffee before work. I went back to the store on the next day and switched it with real coffee maker that uses real coffee. Best part you won't be late for work bothering with crap made by Gusto Scams
I can't stress enough how happy I am to get rid of this one-armed bandit
machine.

I have the same problem but at Dolce Gusto Lumio. It's auto. How can i fix it please? I do the desalination 2-3 times step buy step. I read the instructions carefully. Can't do anything with the light. My Dolce Gusto Lumio is new 4-5 months only.

I wonder how many get tossed out as e-waste (if lucky) when that light comes 300, coffees later, I think there a lot of people, would still have the manual not to hand, I didn't, I'm looks here, to see if it an internal fuse or something needs replacing, if it did need decaling the water has not turned into poison on the 300 hundred cup of coffee, if they think it needed needs it then, why could it not still work, e.g., still make hot water, at least letting you no what ever it is its not that Magyar, or terminal, if I was in little less technical I'm sure It would of been be tossed, makes me think to was the plan from the start? especially, if you already got a stock coffee pods, your less likely to change brand are you ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My Nescafe Gusto model reset works by holding down the power switch as you turn it on at the wall. The indicator flashes red then green. Thereafter it will start as normal - flashing red then green.
Finally, the bit of info I needed to fix the problem. Nothing else worked till I saw your comment. Thanks 🙏
This doesn't work for me. Tried several times but light stays orange. Any thoughts?

I have a dolce lumio, descaled it and the light is still yellow. Unplugged it too, no results.
Star! Light is now green after much growling at it following a descale.
