The advice is sound, but group classes after a certain level are a waste of time. Students come and go and usually in a class even if it is intermediate or advanced there are students at different levels. The only way to get better in any dance is to find a partner and practice together
So footwork in bachata means combinations with the feet. For example, box step, pucala, and Madrid are all considered footwork. Then you have turns, combinations with turns, and of course, body movement such as body rolls and more. Does that make it clearer ?
