Hi Mary, yes ok great, thanks for your comment. I have a couple of other videos in the pipeline. I'll work on some more Lead Rope Solo setup videos soon.
Very cool setup, i used to climb back a few years back, life got busy and looking to start again. I never had many friends so i learned to climb rope solo. I used to use a modified grigri with a chest harness. Built my ground anchors and climbed wearing a rope backpack. Very similar to what it looks like you do. It felt like a lot of gear and would get in the way at times with my upper body. Sometimes I also put some slip knots ever 10 feet and attach that to my draws so that i would have less rope drag but i found it could get snagged in rocks or cracks below. So I ended up liking the rope pack even though it was heavier. I would be interested in seeing how you do that in a video more in depth. Thanks for posting
Good rundown on rope soloing with the SP. I much prefer the Eddy, but all the other particulars here remain the same. Funny, though, climbing with all the rope loops on your harness recreated how I used to rope solo back in the day with just knots before any the devices were available I even had a custom harness made up for doing the looping.
Hi Kory, I just saw on the Lead Rope Solo group that 2 silent partners sold for $1,500 and $1,750. Was one of them you? Next video is Moonlight Buttress then another LRS video where I show my setup in more detail.
miss your videos, Ben. you have a great channel. hope to see more from you in the future.
Would love to see and hear more about your set up!

Hi J yes I have also tried with the rope in a backpack, it does keep it out of the way, but I find it doesn't feed very well.
Please, more details about your set-up. Thanks
Hi Diego, yes ok thanks for the feedback, I’ll create one soon.
