To be honest, this was an easy boss, but was one of the most epic ones
Literally. Just like how Vah Naboris’ fight was easy and fast but the setting is absolutely fantastic
Ikr! Specially if you have the full glide suit and never touch the ground .
Fr, it was my favorite boss in the whole game
Yeah, it was easy. As soon as I started the battle I decided to make it a bit more interesting and restrict myself to only deal damage from below
Just like in the last game, TOTK peaked in the first (intended) temple
no matter how many times I listen I will always get chills to this theme

I love that ToTK went back to randomly cool boss monsters with unique themes. BotW was great but I was missing that classic Zelda vibe.

Oh absolutely. It was a much needed change. Both blights and divine beasts felt identical to each other (hell, even the theme of each blight was recycled). Totk addressed this beautifully. I think the only thing we're missing to get a perfect contemporary Zelda game is more linearity, powerful items inside main dungeons, etc
@@shinyy187 That's because Rito village in botk uses the Dragon Roost theme. It seems like they were going for a sort of call and response between Tulin as represented by the solo flute/recorder/whatever that is and his village as represented by its theme. Then the Tulin flute joins in on the village theme the second time through to represent Tulin learning and accepting his role in his community and them supporting him in it as compared to him previously going it alone. Anyway, point is, had botw given Rito village a different theme then this totk track would have used that instead of Dragon Roost. Regardless, I do think it has enough of its own identity that calling it unique isn't wholly inaccurate despite how important the Dragon Roost theme is to it. Especially in the context of Zelda where a lot of the music is just new versions old tracks being reused in their entirety rather than them being used as motifs alongside new stuff.

every time i see colgera in the distance when i’m in the depths i make a beeline immediately, mostly to hear the theme but also bc it’s a fun boss battle (also the colgera jaw is cool as hell)
I do wish we could fight it in the sky again. Just adds more to the fight
I found it again in the underground but didn’t know it because it was dark. The song started, the boss name appeared, and it took me so off guard hahaha

보스전보다는 진짜 아무것도 안보이는 회오리속 배 위에서 열심히 뛰고 뛰다가 아래 있는 신전이 보일때의 그...탁 트인 해방감. 진짜 무슨 숨겨진 도시를 찾은 것 마냥 나도 모르게 와...소리 내면서 보게됨. 그 웅장함....그리고 너무 쉽게 사라져버린 우리 설탕액정보스의 가벼움...
ㄹㅇ 보스전이 너무 쉽길래 이렇게 쉬워도 되나 싶었음.... 첨에 볼땐 보스 크기에 압도되고 있었는데 ㅠㅠ
그것도 연출이었을까
길 드릅게 복잡한 신전의 좁은 길을 다니다가 그 위로 날아다니며 보스전하는게...

THAT was a really fun battle, ngl! It was so epic with the music and Tulin battling by my side with encouragment. I felt like it was a ghibli film moment and I was on an adventure with Link. It was awesome! ❤
The wind waker theme layered under brought out such fond memories, and as soon as I heard the theme my eyes started to water. Wind waker is what I grew up on, and it will forever hold a place in my heart. So the amount of pure joy that flooded through my body at heat Colgera’s theme? Indescribable.

한번 공략법을 알아버리면 난이도 자체는 쉽지만 야숨왕눈 통틀어 최고의 보스전 이었다고 생각함
일단 공중전이라는 것부터가 분위기가 압도적인데 야숨-왕눈 통틀어서도 유니크한 전투인데다가
해당 지역 현자를 가장 자연스럽게 활용할 수도 있고…
그리고 지저에서 만나면 제일 쓸모있는 길쭉하고 딜 준수한 소재까지 줌

I was not expecting the light dragon to show up dancing. The constructs look even cuter with closed happy eyes, along with all the enemies. Amazing animation!

That's kind of what it's really like. The song is so great, but then the boss dies so quickly that you don't get to enjoy it unless you purposefully waste a lot of time.
This was a great animation! I like when you replace Tulin's head with a seagulls! The end was Neat!
I am late to this video, but hopefully one more comment will help boost this video and let others witness Zelda going sicko-mode on the flute. That alone makes the video worth watching.

it neat that Colgera has the best Boss theme song and is a throwback boss where it has a mechanic to beat rather than trying to whittling down a HP bar
something zelda keeps missing lately is the bosses that are more of a mechanic than a healthbar
but just completing the mechanic shouldn't be the only means of damaging it
queen gibdo was another good example, the light mechanic wasn't enough to delete her
