To everyone who complains about the title saying "this chef" instead of Rie: not naming the chef makes the video more accessible to first time viewers. If you were on your homepage and you saw a video titled "can Bob make spaghettios fancy?" you'd probably pass, not knowing who Bob is or understanding the appeal, thinking some rando is doing an internet challenge. We know and love Rie, but keeping the videos accessible to new viewers means it will be all the easier for more casual viewers to discover and fall in love with Rie too.

My Asian friend certainly doesn’t! She’s funny cause my grandma is a stickler for measurements and her and I aren’t...makes for. interesting discussions in the kitchen!
Probably because she went to culinary school in NY and got most of her work experience in restaurants that focused on western cuisines. She's also doing videos for an American and international audience (who may or may not have cooking skills) so obviously she needs to give detailed informations if anyone wishes to attempt to recreate her recipes. ☺ She's probably a lot more instinctual when she's cooking at home, especially if they're Asian dishes or something she's familiar with.
I know when I cook I rely a lot on instinct but when I bake I'm a LOT more careful with measurements!

Let's stop complaining about the "can this chef" issue coz this is tasty's channel they are not promoting their producers as if they are actors/celebrities but producing content for people to watch. And so that both tasty and the producer being shown won't have problems in the future in case the producer decided to part ways with tasty/buzzfeed to star in his/her own channel featuring contents of him/herself.
