Now whenever I see kooleen upload a new video all I think about is “she’s probably gonna get more hate comments today” which makes the videos less enjoyable I still get a little excited when she uploads new videos but it’s not the same anymore, another thing about the comments I’ve started to see death threats which is really unacceptable and illegal like I said some people are being dramatic but that’s not my point, she has also said the words “Ching Chong eyes” which I think isn’t really nice since she’s not Chinese but now I see people trying to make her get even more hate like in one video someone was saying how kooleen is racist because she called umm I forgot the name but Corners of your hair where you put gel on which is mostly practiced by poc 4 eyebrows people call her racist because of that even tho they did look like 4 eyebrows and also another one but with lips there’s more but I’m not gonna go into detail because these people are so immature and are acting like idiots what I’m trying to say is kooleen I really want you to do a real apology I’m not trying to hate on anyone I just hope you can apologize for the things you’ve said these past years and only to the people that your hurt not other races asking you to apologize to them. Reccomendation: If you want to get even better at poses, do/watch theater. It helps you understand the pose while doing/watching it and the emotions behind it. Being a amazing theater kid, I find myself best at drawing poses. (side note: It also helps your characters to look/act as dynamic as their pose)
Kooleen should make a webtoon just made up of these tutorials lol I would 100% read that. Like She'd be the only normal drawing character and she like goes on a walk and find those weird characters like the kim k proportions, floating people, etc and would teach them how to fix that :F

the "triangel" rule is acultyy about negitive space, not depth. Negitive space it the part that isent drawen, and creats the outside form. making the negitive space reconisable isent nessary, but dose some hevy liftng for preseption! its a good tip, just know it dosent have to be tryangles & it dosent help with depth.

I shall bring in some tips for proportions/place of things for more realistic anatomy! Yayyyyyyy... Eyes, nose, mouth - Imagine the head as a weirdly shaped planet. The eyes are actually close to the equator, maybe a bit higher. The nose starts from between the eyes and goes down so that there's maybe a third (1/3) of the head left below, maybe a bit more or less. The mouth is in the middle of that leftover space; there's about the same amount of space between the mouth and nose and the mouth and chin. How to place ears - if we imagine the ear is the shape of a C, the top curling bit's end is at about eye level, while the bottom curl's end (earlobe) is at about mouth level. The very top of the ear C is at about eyebrow level. So maybe more clearly, where the ear joins the head is at eye level at the top and mouth level at the bottom. Arms - When pointed straight down, the upper arm ends (elbow) at about the bottom of the ribcage. The lower arm ends (tip of fingers) at about halfway down the thigh. So when drawing, try and use the proportion of the torso to see how long the arm should be. (Less useful but fun fact irl: Your foot from heel to tip of toes is likely about as long as your lower arm from wrist to elbow.) Leggies - The legs are about half the entire person, maybe a bit less. The knees are about halfway on the legs (duh). Also something that helped me with proportions when I was starting - The person is about 7-8 heads tall. Stack 7-8 heads and you've got a person. Unfortunately some things land in the middle of the heads in the stack (knees and shoulders, the bastards!) so you'll likely also want half-head lines. It's useful, but it takes some time to set up (especially if you're a perfectionist like me and measured every head and half-head with a ruler to get proper lines to measure with...) and works best for fairly simple poses that can look a bit boring especially if you use the same pose a lot.
A posing hack, for people who already have a grasp on it but are having trouble, i have discovered and live by; *if it's not working today, come back tomorrow.* if you're having an off day, you absolutely do not want to screw up your muscle memory- and posing is probably one of the easiest memories to corrupt. If your practice work is worse than normal, do not keep practicing. Watch videos like this when you're in this state. Whatever you do, do not pick up a pencil.
