Eheim 2217 Canister Filter 11 Years Old! Cleaning & Impeller Replacement

I totally let the cleaning of my canister go several months! I’m sure it’s going to be a disgusting chore. Also, it’s so loud! I probably should buy a new one. However, after the cleaning, I’m going to try changing the impeller .

You are lucky never broken parts?, I used only one year , it had crack on the cover suction, so I need replace the top cover☹️
