Man, when that electric guitar and synth drop, Thile's abrupt change in body language is so great

God that dude in the synth deserve the entire heaven, that was unexepcted and so freaking amazing

I just want to point out that LCD Soundsystem is being covered on a show that used to be called A Prairie Home Companion. Not a complaint, just noting the remarkable change. Thile might have a mandolin strapped to him, but I think he has always been an indie rocker at heart.

pjw2000 nickel creek did some radiohead covers, maybe he got his dancing style from yorke

@Nolan H. He went fairly bluegrass on those covers whereas this isn't at all.

It seems like a younger show now.. That's not a complaint. I'm really liking the roster of guests and the excellent chops of the band

Jay Ham especially considering how the show passed hands. I think it gave them a great excuse to really jump off and make some incredible creative risks

Chris Thile and the Live from Here band have such incredible range and encyclopedic musical taste! Also CT's dance moves may be evidence he's related to Kermit the Frog (2:54).

I’ve always loved how much fun they have on the show. I was so happy when Chris took over A Prairie Home Companion and eventually turned it into Live From Here. This is what I call pure entertainment from pure souls.
    Much love to everyone ❤️
