  • Are you looking to add notes to tables or graphs in Latex? Look no further! This tutorial provides a simple and easy method to add notes to your tables using Latex with Overleaf. By using the "\begin{minipage}{length}" command, you can create a small box under the table where you can insert your notes. With the "\small" command, you can adjust the font size of your text, and with the "\vspace{0.1cm}" command, you can add vertical space between the table and the notes. To add horizontal lines between the table and notes, use the "\hline" command. This method requires minimal knowledge of packages and syntax, making it accessible even for beginners. Experiment with different parameters to find what works best for your specific table or graph. Follow this tutorial and add notes to your tables and graphs with ease!'

Excellent. The simplest way defenitively. Just suggest to use: \begin{minipage}{\textwidth} to avoid to specify the size of the table.

Thank you very much for your sharing. I have not tried it yet. But Regarding the measurement. We use the Cm in default? Not ince or pt. My school set the format in pt.

Hi JD, it is a great session. However, I noted that you did design the table manually. The question is if I have a table in STATA " text, MLX format using outreg2 or asdoc" and want to export it into Latex or LYX. Then, it will be a problem. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi! Unfortunately I am not familiar with it. As you could tell, my method is very manual. Latex isn’t very friendly for notes under tables. Regards, JD
