I don't really think the girl deserves to be seen as someone to be felt bad for as she was aware of her actions, but did she do anything? No.
She had only realized her mistakes and tried to fix their relationship when her boyfriend did the same thing she did, and when they had now swapped places.
I personally feel bad for the guy as he tried to get through the relationship despite her girlfriend acting like that and hope that he'd take a break from her before making the decision to actually end the relationship.
If he does give her a second chance, she better not screw it up.
