Napoleon Bonaparte described us Poles this way: "If something is impossible to do, give it to my Poles, nothing is impossible for them"

@@Blessing_Reacts Only one woman in the world has ever received two Nobel Prizes - our Polish Skłodowska, once in Chemistry and once in Physics. Her husband was French and some people think she was French, but she was Polish.🤍🤍❤❤👍👍

As a Polish girl I kinda agree I often catch myself being that way to stubborn Often don't want to be wrong although I do try to change that. People I know are like that to some degree as well some even way too locked in their own ideas and not willing to consider they are wrong.I guess maybe it stems from the time we had to have these traits for survival so to speak amd it god kind of ingrained in next generatons trough every parent. It's healthy to not be to eager to change your mind but not too bullheaded as well(Is bullheaded the right expression?)

"Know it all"- it has its basis; it is pretty standard that most guys and some women can do repairs jobs around the home and also cars (granted in new generations it becomes rarer and rarer). It doesn't matter that someone is a medical doctor an engineer, or a farmer, they know and can do not only what their profession entails ;)

In 1988 I bought an Atari 65XE and an XC12 tape recorder for loading games from a cassette, all for dollars at Pewex-e (a dollar store), there was still communism in Poland and there was no money for a Joystick, so at work (I was 20 years old) I built it myself using microswitches. Here we have they say "necessity is the mother of invention" so we Poles have learned to cope with any situation and we have our Polish word for it: "Kombinować"

But we can be annoying and be to agresive.
