I love Andy so much because he’s actually fucking normal. I usually don’t care when characters in the genre are dumb, but between “…you took the key to my house?”, “NO! I just want my keys!”, and the entirety of this, Andy has everyone beat. I also really like how the true characters bleed through in the glitches. Maybe alluding to Isabella not liking Arthur? Arthur deliberately spending alone time with Kamryn? It’s all really good!
I low-key love this friend group. Margaret as the mom of the group. Claus and Melody just partially normal. Felix the reckless one and Andy the one that normal and is bullied for it.

But I think that the reason that Felix said it was realistic is because that's where all of them went when they were getting put into the game, their bodies were dragged into the basement so the game would be worked on, the entity took them, and then the game got worked on fully to make them seem like a normal character in it to hide who it truly is

It's so cool that the characters are also their own, well, characters instead of just being creepy dead spirits putting a front. Makes the story more immersive and makes you laugh and feel comfortable so the scary stuff can catch you off guard. Oh and Felix was felix as usual, but the passive agressive insults between melody and Claus were hilarious as well! It's funnier when you consider their past human identities and that Claus is technically Melody's stepfather
Also. all of them pranking Andy and then not saying "Felix, We didn't put any bodies in the basement" Makes me wonder if they put Thomas's face in Andy's present as a prank. [From the Christmas DLC]
What I like the most about this is that it doesn't rely on cheap jumpscares to get a scare out of you. You did a really good job playing on and building on that sense of dread, and while there were a few minor "jumps" here and there they were well paced and did their job of adding that sense of unease. The ending is probably one of the scariest I've seen with these types of videos simply because of Margret's line, and what really made my heart stop was we never actually got to see what she was talking about. Overall, this was a really solid short and I hope to see more like this in the future. Also, its nice for a change to see bits of humor sprinkled out here and there as it not only provides comic relief but adds "innocence" to the video.
This is now my favorite Halloween Special ever. This is a true work of art. The only other Halloween Special that even comes close to this is "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown"

Basically Lucy gaslit Linus when he was old enough to remember, making up the Great Pumpkin to Linus as a joke... That she comes to regret. I also like to think that Lucy was like years later "Linus, there's no Great Pumpkin! I made that up!" with Linus not believing her confession.
Felix is so funny throughout the video, and right before going in the house with him saying "I've done worsen things before" and then the addition of Andy's concern, I loved that part

The stronger film grain effect really sells the idea of an unfinished animation, and at some points, you can see a shadow of the character outlines, like the shadow of a cel against a background. And the horror visuals are on point too. Atmospheric and used perfectly. Cracking little Halloween special!
Ironically, I think this is the one where they treat him the best. In the game and the Valentine's Day short, they're a lot meaner and less concerned about him.
Unironically, it does give me some old Disney or Talkartoon vibes. And some of the things that were supposed to be scary actually made me crack up, examples. - 0:47 - 1:41 - 4:20 (lol) - 7:11 Also, I feel like I should just acknowledge this shot of Andy reaching for the door handle, 5:48, something about the camera movement makes it a little... special.

soo, y'all might be confused on who the tall, black, one eyed figure was. i think that might've been Peter in his lanky tall form! and..Claus Melody and Margret might've been able to see Peter in this form cause of Andy falling unconscious from being scared, this might be oddly foreshadowing chapter 2! mainly the scene of the mirror room where Peter was Andy's reflection, in hindsight they're the same person, but they can be separate. well, given certain circumstances. such as Andy falling unconscious and caused Claus Melody and Margret to see Peter for, possibly the first time!
Melody just sounds way too pure when she says, “Please! We’re sorry for coming into your house, just let us leave!” The humor in this was so good tho! I hope we get more of these!

Another thing, this is just a guess but maybe because Melody isn't actually possessed by Eastwood's daughter yet, because she isn't dead (from the info I have at the moment), maybe that could be the reason why Melody knows that Margaret is possessed by Kamryn and that she's supposed to be her daughter, while the other's have no clue of each other's soul's
Hey M36Games, that was a really great Halloween video! Now I hope to not just be given a game update, but also be given another animated film with Andy the Apple and friends (plus Peter the Pumpkin), maybe during Thanksgiving and/or Christmas and so on and so forth! This video reminds me of an English essay I wrote based on Andy's Apple Farm lol. They all wanted to go to this haunted farm in the forest, but Melody and Felix sorta didn't want to. The moment they got in, they were separated and Andy faced a scary voice telling him to run. Long story short Andy's friends got replaced by fakes and he lived in fear forever :)

Overall, this was a really solid short and I hope to see more like this in the future. Also, its nice for a change to see bits of humor sprinkled out here and there as it not only provides comic relief but adds "innocence" to the video.
This is now my favorite Halloween Special ever. This is a true work of art. The only other Halloween Special that even comes close to this is "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown"

Also, I like to bring this up. I came up with a theory on the origins of the Great Pumpkin.
Basically Lucy gaslit Linus when he was old enough to remember, making up the Great Pumpkin to Linus as a joke... That she comes to regret. I also like to think that Lucy was like years later "Linus, there's no Great Pumpkin! I made that up!" with Linus not believing her confession.

The stronger film grain effect really sells the idea of an unfinished animation, and at some points, you can see a shadow of the character outlines, like the shadow of a cel against a background.
And the horror visuals are on point too. Atmospheric and used perfectly. Cracking little Halloween special!

soo, y'all might be confused on who the tall, black, one eyed figure was. i think that might've been Peter in his lanky tall form! and..Claus Melody and Margret might've been able to see Peter in this form cause of Andy falling unconscious from being scared, this might be oddly foreshadowing chapter 2! mainly the scene of the mirror room where Peter was Andy's reflection, in hindsight they're the same person, but they can be separate. well, given certain circumstances. such as Andy falling unconscious and caused Claus Melody and Margret to see Peter for, possibly the first time!

This video reminds me of an English essay I wrote based on Andy's Apple Farm lol. They all wanted to go to this haunted farm in the forest, but Melody and Felix sorta didn't want to. The moment they got in, they were separated and Andy faced a scary voice telling him to run. Long story short Andy's friends got replaced by fakes and he lived in fear forever :)
