Brilliant! Can’t wait to see you explore the Woo product blocks. The flexibility in Woo is really improving. Would love to see a full ecommerce tutorial, something that takes a deep dive into Woo like a start to finish store with something like a drop shipping or print on demand integration. Well done as always!
I love the "slide presentation" for the staging explanation, and payment solutions. I haven't used Woo in a bit, and there sure seems to be a lot of real improvments.
The problem I get, is that i cannot control which fields to disable from billing. For example, i dont need any address or zip code for online product. The regular methods with php or a plugin wont work for this block based checkout.
Fantastic. Love your videos. Can't seem to find the template you used as the basis for your tennis website. When I click on the themes link, it's not there. I see one Woo theme that displays one product page layout. Please advise. I'd love to try it out.
Thank you, Jamie! I'd like to do this with Astra Pro, and Spectra, is this possible? I cannot find how to slide the basket from the right... can you helm me, please? Or, maybe, do one more video with Astra instead of your theme. Thank you so much!
I simply can't believe that this is even possible. Is this a new feature? There are sooo many tutorials showing ineffective ways to edit the shop with plugins, but this blows them out of the water. What kind of theme do I use? I liked using astra or kadence theme with the kadence blocks plugin. Now I need a different one that's a block theme, you have any recommendation? I just started with twenty-twenty four. Either way the customization we are getting with this feature is out of this world
Yup you would need a Block Theme - any here will do wordpress.org/themes/tags/full-site-editing/ but also check out this video ruclips.net/user/live0-aHhfbk8Ac?si=U_dGlevrxZrSENoX
@@jamiewp i don't see any templates. Is this a plugin or extension that need to install? I'm in fresh install of recent Woocomerce + WOrdpress in a Google Cloud Engine. Subscribed to your channel! Thank you!

Hi, that's called the command palette , it's now part of all Block Themes, you access by clicking on the template name (in purple in my demo) or shortcut cmd + k
Hi Jamie could you do a video on how to add a product filter sidebar to the shop page please? Also is it true that the woocommerce product filter block only works with the All Products block? I am thinking of having a product filter sidebar in a product category page.
hey jamie what you would sugguest for wordpress freelancers to where should they get their beginning orders..any specific freelancing platform or should i go for agency model
I got everything working except the paypal buttons don't show on the checkout page, I can see them on the edit page and there's no confict with any of the plugin's, and tried it in 3 diffrent browser, any ideas what could be blocking them?
Sorry. There is no payment gateway. That is not a complete shop. Try a payment gateway and you will see whats happen with the new blocks. If you dont know how. Sandbox is your friend.
@@jamiewp The payment gateway is not simply independent of the block editor. that is not true. It would be nice if the content was researched a little more in depth. I repeat. Hi,, you don't set the payment gateway up in the block editor, that is set up in woocommerce settings (the same way it's always been done) - - i've built many woocommerce sites this way, and they work perfectly - which payment gateways don't work for you? @@espiat9505
I have a paytabs payment gateway and the payment methods issue is facing me in the block mode but it's solved when i transferred the checkout page to classic mode, could you help me why is that and what can i do to solve this issue from the plugin code itself (i am a php & wordpress developer) but i can't identify why the problem happen in first place @@jamiewp

Jamie I have been cracking my head on how to edit the shop page without having to deal with coding and u just showed us how simple it is.

Is it possible to use the block editor to customize my account page?
Yes to a certain extent as you can edit the myaccount template when using a block theme
Hi, thank you for the tutorial... I downloaded the theme but there's no navigation menu, say's it's been deleted or is unavailable ?
You might need to create a new one, just add the navigation block
