very well said. But forgot to mentions the down side of INTPs at work doing work they hate. They can be the worst "I dont give a damn" employees. Im an INTP btw. If INTPs are not allowed to INTP at work, then that can be a seriously huge problem for both parties.
It's incredibly difficult for me to force myself to do things I see as essentially arbitrary and pointless ie typical work place tasks. If I don't see any logic or purpose behind something I have very little interest.
Yes. I... Friggin.. Talk back to my employees and managers, swear up and down the aisles, even flip off customers (behind their backs). I seriously need to man up and get another job, because the one I'm at... Just... I am disrespectful in so many ways possible WHILE MAKING PEOPLE LAUGH about it. The downside of being an INTP is horrible -- because I love everybody: my co-workers, the employers, the customers, everyone. But it doesn't feel meaningful anymore: and rather than be mature about it, I'm willing to get myself fired for insubordination. Like wtf
My only struggle with my INTP colleague at work is that they prefer to do all the work when doing team work, and then they’re like let’s do the entire project by ourselves and then merge it to see what we come up with where I prefer to divide the work and focus deeply on what we have than to be scatter brained.
M Rod here’s the thing, I’m an architect myself (profession). A lot of the field requires Ni, the ability to strategize and predict people’s behaviors in the areas that you design (Ni Te). The Ni really organizes the concepts. However, you’re right... Ne mainly concerns itself with gathering architectural concepts, which is why I can understand you when you explain INTP’s theoretical application of architecture. But trust me, Ni and Te (INTJ) are architects because of the utilitarian nature and coordination with other disciplines that relies so heavily on Te, to support the design’s overall vision and bigger picture Ni. INTPs are mainly concerned with how this works for themselves (their identity Ti) that is fed Ne concepts. So although they have a thorough understanding of architectural concepts, they don’t have the ability to pin down and strategize on a concept and bigger picture whilst coordinating with other disciplines 24/7. Again, I’m an architect myself, and it seems very apparent to me that INTJs are architects.
M Rod first of all, you’re very wrong brother. I’m an architect and it’s not all about construction I’m involved in a lot of schematic conceptual designs... its bold of you to tell architects what they do and what they don’t do. INTJs literally lead with Ni, a function that is conceptually driven, Ni is about organizing concepts. That’s what I do for a living. I organize concepts, I organize patterns, how? By planning. By schematic design, by pinning down on an abstract vision constantly. INTPs don’t do that. They’re just literate when it comes to architecture, but that doesn’t mean that they ARE an architect. Ni is Concept Orientated and that’s what architects always do. The Te i talked about is separate, but it just proves my point how INTJs literally are the embodiment of architects through their abilities to organize concepts (Ni) and apply them (Te). Also, I’m pretty sure true INTJs wouldn’t get burned if Elon Musk is INTP. I personally think yeah he could be an INTP because of his Si and Fe.
M Rod come on, you’re really gonna bring IQ into this? If that makes you feel like the mastermind and architect, all power to you bud. Look, we agree to disagree. And like you said, everybody can be an architect, it’s not exclusive to any type. Everybody can do everything. So as long as we remember that and humble ourselves, trying to evaluate and assess the archetype of an architect professionally shouldn’t create any friction. And you’re right, having degrees doesn’t mean anything, but having experience in the field does.
I enjoy watching your channel.. and I hope you don't mention examples of these figures. because the example you gave is wrong...elon musk is not intj and intp.. elon musk is ISTP loop TI NI.. i hope you learn enggrm system and vultology .
@@GhostofJung it's true and proven.. elon musk TiNiSeFe. observe again using your vultology skills and engineering skills... I'm sure you can reveal the truth.. because the majority of Intj people have very good knowledge..
I'm quite happy that I'm INTP, what I'm not happy about is that Bill Gates also is INTP.
understood. I feel you. I have many gripes with other "INTJs" that really sully our good name. 😂
I find it hard to believe that creature is an intp
Is he fuck!

@@colinklang Totally, same here.
yes they can be! Would rather quit than compromise their inner truth.
@@GhostofJung I have done that recently xD

Interesting perspective. I'll admit I haven't worked with an INTP (knowingly) but this does sound like something they might do
I am INTP we work better alone and don’t like to rely on others to produce for us because of standards we hold lol
An expert is someone who makes all the mistakes in a narrow field...

I’ll always see INTJs as “architects”.

M Rod yeah it was nonetheless a productive conversation. Nice talking to you brother, take care and have a nice day.
Sorry for the delay, thank you for the comment!
Uses time precisely and wisely .
Very proficient,
One could say. An intp seems robotic.
(We are)
Mike dixinurass INTJs are the coldest humans. INTPs are the warmest machines.
and thats ok

Hell yeah
I have a hard time believing Patrick is an INTP. I need more information about this claim.
I didn't verify it through rigorous fact checking
