Well, coming from the Kirk Hammett's 20k$ Gibson Greeny video to Scott's 899$ Jackson. You save 19k and it stays in tune. Not a bad deal for such a sick looking guitar.
I HATE the gibson brand (but love the guitar looks) but just look at the hardware, a freaking Floyd rose Special you can’t be so wrong about the tuning. Floyd rose special are awful. The minimum would be a Floyd 1000 to have quality.

People talk about James Hetfield's rhythm playing... but Scott Ian is right up there. I don't think he gets enough recognition for the absolute monster player he is. I've been a fan since the 80's. Hard to say, but I think "I am the Law" might have been the track a mate showed me back in high school.
@@creamysauce7966 maybe not better, but equally as good (talking strictly about rhythm guitar playing) but i gotta say, i've always thought that anthrax' tone is better than metallica's. especially in the modern day. i really dislike modern metallica tone, whereas worship music and for all kings tone are probably the best produced modern metal albums, tone-wise.

“To be a Jackson artist it’s a dream come true for me. Because I still feel the same way I did in the early 80s when I would see them hanging on the wall in the guitar shop.” This sentence perfectly encapsulates how I feel as well. Been playing Jackson since I was 16 and it’s the only thing I care to play, except I’m not an artist but you know 😅.
Damn that's badass!!!!! I was thinking this guitar looked like the dimeslime even down to the Zebra pick ups and tone/volume placement then he says that's exactly what it is. This is incredible Scott you fuggin rule man!!!! CFH FOREVER
As far as BC Rich, they are undeniable as an iconic metal guitar, I just find that Jackson were always more reliable as far as playability. Charvel is rad too, I have a couple myself.
He is so clean and smooth with his riff playing. I've always loved the sound of Jackson guitars. Just like Dave Mustangs sound was at its best when he played a Jackson V
100% buying this. Doesn’t bother me that it has cheaper pickups and FR because I like to ticker and customize all my guitars. But man that finish is SICK.
Not only is Scott Ian one of my favorite guitarists, in one of my favorite metal bands, he's one of my favorite human beings on the planet. Working with Jackson to get a price point less than a thousand bucks?! Awesome dude. If I didn't have a Jackson King V already, I'd buy this one today! (and I still might, because of the color)
I love Scott Ian--he wrote "March of the SOD" which is the best thrash riff ever written. He is the reason I bought my 1987 Jackson Soloist Custom; $1,500 in 1987 dollars! I watched the tour of his guitar rig on RUclips, and every single Jackson he had was made by the Custom Shop. He would never play this guitar on stage unless it was a radio station giveaway after the show, or it was a prop guitar to smash.
Scott Ian is my biggest inspiration and Anthrax my favorite band. His original models are dope, but the added floyd just completely sells it. Looks like I've got some saving to do
There are two iterations of Scott Ian. There is him young with hair and then bald Scott Ian that hasn't aged since. One of my favorite guys and players in metal.
I absolutely love Ian's / Anthrax's music - his writing and playing has been so incredibly consistent all these years, it's scary... And always seems a genuinely nice guy too!! I'll admit though, not a massive fan of that typical Dime slime green 🤣🤣🤣 but to each their own, I suppose. This KingV would look phenomenal with a black outline (burst) instead of green, but that's just me 😅 Thanks for making these beasts available, Jackson & Ian!!!!! Keep rocking! 🤘😎🤘
Sexy guitar and what a touching tribute to a legend and a great friend, I think that’s a very beautiful guitar, I absolutely love the fact that it’s green and the fact that it has a different type of finish to it, I love the block inlays and how easily Scott can play it, Scott is a heavy metal legend!! Anthrax kicks ass to this day!! 🤘🎸🤘🎸😎😎
My local music store is a Fender dealer and they got their first load of Jacksons the other week. They're all the lower priced import King Vs, Kellys, etc. but I was impressed with what I saw.
Hey Scott totally agree the looks are half the battle. I've been through like 50 guitars and I always play more and practice more when I have one that I think looks cool lmao
I love this guitar!!! I saw him play one in Seattle and couldn't take my eyes off it. The ones with the pick guard are disappointing but this finish is truly epic! Scott should give me one. Lol. I love you Scott!!!
Yes! As a gigging guitarist one will soon realize that guitar is just part of the equation and you do need extra savings for all other stuff: pedals amps cabs cables maintenance
I cannot believe those are stock Jackson pickups! They sound great! While watching I was thinking "does he play Seymour Duncan or DiMarzio" lol. It's been a while since I've played a V. I'm just itching to play this one through THAT 5150 half stack. YEAH!! 🤘🎸And it looks great too :)
Scott Ian rockin' the Robbin Crosby of RATT Jackson Signature Model! (Robbin Crosby's nickname was "King", and that's where the Jackson King V got its name, as he basically wanted a Rhoads V, but with both wings symmetrical and the shape and length of the longer Rhoads V bass side wing.)
This is a serious axe...and the only guitar from Jackson that attracted my attention recently!! BUT......I will wait for the silver burst single pickup Scott Ian Floyd Rose X series...I mean...CON' ON JACKSON!!!!!
Great Guitar Jackson You Guys Nailed it with This One I’m a Huge fan of The Jackson Guitars Especially The Randy Rhodes RR3 Model and The Kelly And Also The King V and My Last Favorite The Soloist Model Truly The Ultimate Metal Guitars Ever Invented
Now that’s what I’m talking about finally something exciting from Jackson that’s not a 2500 MIJ. I’d like to have seen a gotoh 1996t instead of the FR special but 899 for a proper constructed King V with a bound ROSEWOOD board and a killer finish, I think they will sell a ton of these .
Humble and extremely underrated guitar player.
His guitar tone is way superior than any 80s thrash band. The ultimate rhythm player.

No name pickups plus Floyd special… it’s an alright spec guitar but I understand the signature name increasing the cost.
