When I've had to fight with those sill plate screws, I've used vice grips on the bottom and back them out. A couple 2/3 turns and you can usually get them to turn with a screwdriver. PB blaster and a pick to get the rust out of the screw heads doesn't hurt, either. Back in the 90's we used to cut the pockets off the door panels, and make a replacement panel with a 6.5 (or 2 6.5's). Not a ton of room for speakers in a standard cab S10.

The steering columns are a nightmare. That high beam switch has a little plastic bracket that pushes the bar for the high beam button. Has to be dead nuts to work properly. Just had to pull my 91 column apart to tighten the tilt mechanism. Loving the s10 content see yall in the valley!
I wish that u could somehow help my brother finish his 66 c10 before he loses interest in finishing it. He has all of the suspension work done. He and I both kinda got overwhelmed with the air lines and valves and hasn't been ran yet. I feel like if that was done already he would finish it. I'm not sure how close by yall are but he lives in southern Alabama and I live about 15mins away from him across the ala fla line in the panhandle. I don't really want to ask where yall are located on here
