Yeah only thing I found with fitting this passenger side infront of intercooler is the intake air temps rose so and now changing the bracket to go behind the intercooler as theres heaps of room in there
@KiwiWanderers yes I have noticed higher intake temps even just going slow around towns but when towing they can be in high 36°C even if ambient temps are in high 26°C or lower where engine coolant temps are better than with factory trans water cooler in place
Again really helpful content. Thanks for taking your time to make these vids. Have to remember also that when we are in management roles we have to pretend we know exactly how to do everything, got slightly nervous when you mentioned moving driveshafts that make the neck hairs stand up. Could even be temped to do all the mounting run the hoses then pay someone with a hoist to finish off the underneath stuff. Thanks again really enjoy your videos.
Thanks for the great vid. Just wanted to check up on you which hose goes to the top of the cooler and which hose go to the bottom? Assuming the inlet is bottom and outlet at the top to auto bleed any air, which is then the return side on the gearbox?
Hi David, Great Question ,The cooler in front of the radiator should have hot oil entering the top and cooler oil leaving the bottom. the pipes on the trans are the same hot at the top. so top pipe on trans goes to top pipe on cooler.. Thanks for watching Cheers Greg

Do U loose transmission fluid when U remove the original cooler
yea a little bit is lost and you need to top up after the fact because of the extra fluid going to the lines and the new cooler. cheers Greg
