      Angel Gutierrez in all honesty though the Americans didn't decide to just join in when things looked rough for Britain, they joined in because of an attack on Pearl Harbour by the Japanese. Correct me if i'm wrong but as far as i know America had no intentions of helping until Japan forced their hand. Also saying Americans saved the Brits downplays the sacrifice that Russia made where for every 1 US solider that died around 80 Soviet soldiers did. Without Russia it's quite likely that both the US and the UK would have fallen due to the Germans having advanced technology and a strong military. Russia was 100% the deciding factor in WW2, not America.

  • @JETZcorp
    @JETZcorp 13 лет назад +35

    I once talked with an F-15 pilot who said he did a 45-second centrifuge run at NINE g. In order to fly the Eagle, you have to hold 9g for 15 seconds, but this guy said he held it for 45, after which his body was completely exhausted by every measure. I can't even IMAGINE how difficult that must be.

    • @MrHeroicDemon
      @MrHeroicDemon 2 месяца назад

      ?????? This is only 2.7 - 4g max, what are you saying. There is no way without a suit he did 9g LMAO.
      Clearly 33 others didn't do highschool science either. They also did an "explosion" using a chemical, and then switched it for special effects and got real explosives since potassium or sodium metal wasn't that cool looking plooping into water. LMAO.

    • @JETZcorp
      @JETZcorp 2 месяца назад +2

      @MrHeroicDemon Who said anything about "without a suit"? Dude was an F-15 pilot, doing F-15 training in US ANG F-15 flight gear. Of course he had a G-suit. 9G is the standard for USAF-type fast-movers. The F-15, F-16, F-22, and F-35 are all 9G airplanes and the pilots need to be able to deal with that. I know the requirement for light-grey F-15 fleets is 15 seconds; I'm not sure about the others.

      I think the closer you are to the middle of the rotation, the less effect you get compared to further away. In the middle, it'll probably just feel like being in a train, because you're not getting pulled as much.

    simple, the closer you are to the middle the less centripetal(less swing) force is felt. it's like a fan blade, the tip of the blade moves faster than the middle, resulting in far less speed and pressure.

    @kdy2boy The outside of a spinning object is faster than the inside. Kind of like a cd or record. The point where jeremy is has to travel further but do it in the same time as the point where the controllers where sitting. Therefore more speed in a circular motion = more g force. Hope this helps :D

      my friend you too can own one
      few ways.. either save few hundred pounds every month and finish it off buying a loan.
      Or start with a gtt and convert it custom style. Or just get a loan and buy one and pay back slowly.
      but be quick as they are rising in price every year.
      I brought mine as a shell and worked on it.. everything custom. and have been working on it for last 7 years.
      it just never ends ... there are so many options so many things you can do to it.. never ends. Haha..
      I will post it up soon. I can assure you it will go viral. I'm sure of it !! yea baby.

    In that British way, so well explained by the G machine operator. However, why does the UK G machine look like it was built on Blue Peter? (with double sided sticky tape etc).
    And why have the operator IN the G machine structure (1:56), rather then in a separate room where he is not effected by the spin etc?
