Few spots in Castlebar Mayo - Cafollas for the chips, Blue Thunder for the chicken burger and Ketchup Mayo for very decent amd cheap fosh and chips
Catch of the day and fisherman catch are in cork in a small town called kinsale. Catch of the day has the best fish in chips ever in my opinion! I really recommend it, fisherman catch is crazy good too, there is just not as much crisp. They are fish and chip trucks by the way not somewhere you can go inside!

Best chipper in ireland, if I'm gigging within an hour of Douglas I'm leaving 2 hours early to hit KC's, playing in Sneem Co. Kerry Friday and have already planned a route from home in Offaly to bring me by KC's. Everything on the menu is out of this world.

I'd subscribe if the cameraman stayed completely silent 😢 - he adds nothing and is a pain to listen to "waaay tooo bleeeedin Duuubb" . I use bad language myself in conversation when its relevant and in context but it sounds absolutely terrible when published in a video like this.... keep him quiet, and I guarantee your channel will grow MUCH quicker. 😊

Best fish and chips I ever had in my life was in Cork. Quinlans Seafood Bar Cork.

Defo worth a trip down, Cork has some unbelievable food spots. Make sure to try ‘Son of a Bun’ aswell if you make the trip 🙌

Douglas Village used to be lovely until typical shite Irish Urban Planners (unless it's a Cork thing) got hold of it in the late 80s. P.S Always make it to KCs when I'm home from Canada.

If you want to do a random chipper and get out of the cities/ around Dublin you should try Norios Roscommon town. Best chips in Ireland. It won today FM award for them afew years back.

To be fair I think it's slightly overhyped, the queue is mostly for the cheap food in that area, and you'll find better burgers, chips and fish in various places around the city. Maybe that it's all in one place adds to the popularity, but it was never "wow it's unbelievably good" for me.
Have you tried the pittas & curry sauce? I’ve been all over Ireland and that curry sauce is the best I’ve had! 💥

KC's truly is fantastic alright. I live on the other side of the city and it's really awkward to get to, which is a shame.

I actually swerved getting a table for a long time for this exact reason, we want to forge our own path however a table of some sort is essential when giving authentic & honest reviews on the street! 💥

Looks a good chipper. I’ve never heard of that one. I’ve been recommended Lennox chipper in Cork loads of times. I went to Kielys in cork last year after seeing them on tv and it was decent.

A chipper is a place where the staple is fish n chips. KC'S is a generic takeaway not a chipper. The chips at KC'S are tasteless and bland. The cameraman mentioned Lennox. Their fish batter is soggy and tasteless and the fish is very average. The chips are also tasteless. There is no good fish n chips in Cork. Quinlans in Cork is very average. By the way this is for people who really appreciate good QUALITY and TASTY fish n chips.
My opinion, kcs is overrated. Burger is shit and philly cheese is shit. Chips are grand, curry sauce is delicious.
