Crazy, same 2 mods I did. except i got the exhaust with SC Project tips Its just as loud as that even with dB killers. Somehow this bike has a wide bandwidth of self tuneability. With it that loud it feels exactly the same as stock, no lean flat spots. I paid way more than $22.00 so good deal. And yes, with tips it is still centered really well and the tips follow the contour of the tail section and sit flush. Much nicer fit than some much more expensive pipes. Just loud, (really good in traffic though so I'll take it). On the new cable you still may need to lube it. Mine was super stiff when I got it too, even with the new one, until I lubed it. I ended up also using an FZ07 lever arm which is slightly longer than the stock arm to make it light pull.
Careful on that link you buy those things are not mounted correctly like the stock one do. It’s going to hit that bottom plastic cover you have and it will melt it.
I got the same one and it came with heat resistive tape. The tape is wedged between the pipe and plastic (by the tool kit) and there is no melting.

If you removed the mufflers, why did you keep the round metal bits where they used to be? Just remove them and mount the license directly under the tail light?

Should have spent another couple bucks for a few cheap knock off mufflers to make the bike sound better. I just ordered the same y pipe but with 2 mufflers that look like sc project with clamps and springs for $55. Many run the knockoffs with great results.

When I replaced my clutch cable. I was trying to be lazy and thought I could do it without removing the gas tank. I was soo wrong lol
Yeah it’s unfortunately a bit involved on these guys unless you are a pro at snaking wires haha

Did the new clutch came make it easier to pull, I read the fazers in general are hard to pull
As in how difficult it is to pull the lever? Yes, mine was so clogged with old grease and debris it was like a new bike
I hope it doesn't happen to you. I had the exact tail tidy . Lasted about a year before it snapped in half through the letters
same i bought it twice and snapped in half ... lost my lisence plate ..

I believe they are 22mm bar end mirrors, not specifically for the bike
