A She Journal - At the Top of These Stairs - Junk Journal and Poetry

- This is a tiny "She Journal" - I try to find phrases that begin with "she" or imply "she" and try to tell a little story. No two stories will ever be the same.
This particular journal is made from a combination of old and new papers that are made to look old. One very special feature is a really old Tin Type of a very mysterious woman. The Cover is made from a scrap of stamped fabric, crinkled ribbon and vintage lace. A very lovely wax seal and tiny mother of pearl button complete the cover.
I encourage anyone who acquires a She Journal to add to the journal by snipping words and phrases that speak to you. Take a glue stick along with you and you will always be prepared! This is a mystical, uplifting talisman or (taliswoman) you can keep in your purse, or next to your bed. Tuck it in your lingerie drawer with lavender sachets. You can hold it in the palm of your hand for courage or comfort. There are enough blank spots for you to jot your own thoughts- or take up the project and find snippets in books, newsletters or magazines and cut them out and paste them in to continue the story.

Isn't it pretty? It came from Taperlogy.However, I do know how these are made - they are made with clear hot glue and painted with bronze paint, I'm pretty sure. A very fun trick for all wax seals is to paint the stamped image with some gold or other metallic colored paint. Thanks so much for watching!
