@manfredi19 comet with slims are basically a slower flame runner if that's the kind of thing you mean toad with standard ATV, and toadette teddy with button tires are absolutely just CPU combos
Weird that Big Blue puts you in lap two but Mount Wario doesn't. Was it a difference in the methodology (where the checkpoint was removed) or is it the track itself that's different?
How did you go about canceling the lap check? The lakitu pickup thing is weird and it seems to totally break lap checks entirely. If you wanted to simulate, like, a single checkpoint failing (so the other laps count) i think itd be better if you just changed one of the key checkpoints (like key checkpoint 6, 7, 8) to be a regular checkpoint (so key checkpoint 6, 8). Would remove the lakitu jank and maybe the rest of the laps would count
