Yesterday I was smoking with my brother across the street from my apt. My 10 year old was coming down stairs to bring me my peanutbutter snacks, so as my bro was lighting the pipe I asked him refrain until little man left, out of respect. But my bro started telling me off, saying i’m part of the problem and that I need to stop hiding from my son, cause it’s not like he doesn’t know I smoke. I didn’t want to hide from my little love. I just felt it was the right thing to do to refrain until he was well away from the cloud. But you’d think I spit in my bro’s food the way he told me tf off. In that moment I wished I could just quit like I wanted to do months ago. I hate that I feel I need this, and I wish I could afford help in my quitting, but I sadly can’t. I know I can quit. I quit coffee after years of the stuff. Anyway may the force be with you.

First, I'd like to praise you for commenting and acknowledging your addiction at that age! 👍Growing up is tough. Life as a teen or youth can be emotional, stressful, and overwhelming. While it can be hard at times, smoking can make it worse. The good news here is, that it’s easier to quit smoking when you are young than as an adult.🌷

Also, when it comes to smoke tobacco or weed, especially at young age, it can affect your physical and mental health. Smoking before the brain is fully developed (about age 25) can affect memory, thinking and attention. If you're a heavy smoker try to reduce it first to avoid the mental stress later. Don't lose hope and stay strong!👋❤

What has helped me the most is weight training and cardio. I keep myself busy during the day studying, but I still don't feel 100% well, I feel that it won't be until 90-120 days that I will start to be more positive and motivated.
The only thing I know is that I don't want to go back to smoking and I'm more convinced than ever (this is like the tenth time I'm trying to quit, but I know I'll make it because I'm never going to give up).

It's really no problem quitting weed like that.
The problems is, after a few months, when you've done good for yourself and start thinking, "I sure deserve a puff now."
Alcohol and weed we're the last 2 things I've had to give up as well after giving up every other hard drug for about 5 years now.
People can be assured that it get's easier the more often you try and the longer you go without your drug of choice be that alcohol, meth or weed.
And having other positive habits as he said are so crucial for success.
For me it's working out everyday, meditating twice a day, long walks with my beloved dog, eating healthy and stretching the whole body.
Best of luck to others trying to quit those bad habits.
