The other unique thing about the Continental series of Eurekas is that it is the first series with a single unified motor hood. Most classic Eureka uprights before these had a smaller motor hood sitting on top of a base that could be seen from the outside. With a thick rubber furniture guard, the classic Eureka motor hoods look like they had three layers.
Hey I just wanted to give you some information I actually worked for a Kmart from 1992 through 1999 and Sears and Kmart were not the same company not until 2004 when they started buying out sears. and they bought out Venture in 1998. But in the 70s and 80s and 90s Kmart and Sears where its own separate entities
@@Konstellation_Karl_55 mine is the one you showed as the all original one, I posted it to facebook because I couldnt find any information regarding them! mine as you could see in the photos, has a bad scratch on the lens along with blemishes on the hood. I got really lucky thanks to my friend who spotted it for me.
