@@MoPoppins, was their statement on where they plan to tour because I've only seen locations in Australia. Prior to the 2nd wave of the pandemic, they talked about touring in the USA and mentioned Las Vegas. Personally, I'd prefer New York but just want them to perform in the USA...anywhere!

What’s disturbing is that they are more talented and entertaining to watch than a lot of other music groups that have more recognition! HSCC is wildly under appreciated!

When i think of the Land Under and of great acts like: Air Supply, the Little River Band, Men At Work, AC/DC, INXS, Midnight Oil, the Bee Gees, Kylie Minogue, Olivia Newton John, Kieth Urban, and IceHouse, you should count yourself among them. It's amazing how you are able to cover just about every genre of music and always giving it your special touch. Thank you for continuing to amaze us every week with your incredible musicianship. What I love about #HSCC when they cover a classic song (as is the case here), is that, as a listener, I think I know where it's going ... and then I get taken somewhere else altogether! 😁 Great interpretation, and Lennox-like vocals from Melissa McCaig.👏

*Great video! Sweet Dreams was released to radio in 1983. The original video had parts that were actually shot in the board room of the record company. Melissa keeps the HSCC Trademark going being impeccably dressed and offering a searing vocal. Love the 3 background vocals. And Cons walking bass lines. It’s great seeing Jordan Lennon on the mic as always. Dave Ross is always a welcome addition to the performance 🎭! Excellent mixing from Darren on such a landmark song that would make Annie Lennox proud!*

Well that was fun! As always, a top notch singer who didn't try to sound exactly like Annie Lennox, because that would be foolish! Annie's vocal talent on a live stage is mind blowing. This was excellent too.
I have been thoroughly hooked for a long time. In a way, they remind me of the documentary feating "The Wrecking Crew." These were the professional studio musicians who played for the recording artists in the 60s. They were professionals in every sense. Thus, Hindley Street Country Club members are also professionals in every way. The quality or their recording cannot be matched. Apple has now released music with Dolby Spatial Audio. Would enjoy hearing HSCC with this format.

These guys are always astonishing. Wow! And this one is no exception. So, so many great elements here. Keeping that left hand bass synth going the whole way through. The almost reggae feel on the bass in spots. The super tasty guitar injections. The groovy drumming. The fantastic backing vocals. And the stellar lead vocals! And, as always, this band injects just enough of their own arrangement tweaks to make the whole thing even more enjoyable than the original. (Oh, and leather capri pants on a woman are never a bad fashion decision. Never!) The talent here is incredible. Thank you so much, yet again!!
