Rupert Holmes lived next door to us when I was growing up. He is such a nice guy. We enjoyed having him over for our christmas parties. Love this song! He was most proud of his Broadway Musicals.
He also wrote the classic Timothy another great song.

Jason’s sax solo was warm and luscious. Con’s lead was smooth and mellow- truly masterful. His smile was bright, delightful, and infectious- he lifted the whole performance. I loved the backups and the rhythm section. It was all around fabulous.

It's such a late-70s style sax sound - it just fits in perfectly - as though it was in the original song. A very tasty addition to the song.

Con 'The Big Man' Delo doesn't get behund that solo mic much, but when he does, it's magic.
It's because Con's voice is so different than the others... it's smooth, yet raspy. And his pitch, it's high or low or anywhere in between to fit the song. Only he brings that voice. Bravo Big Man!
