I'm a big, strong, tough fireman, 30 years retired, and this song always move me to tears, and your beautiful rendition did it too! Although not a direct analogy firefighters are a brotherhood as we live together one third of our time. And in my thirty years attended three funerals of current friends, brothers. I've been retired 15 years and subsequently have attended the funerals of many more where I'll meet up with my "brothers" at the funeral and the brotherhood, even though the meeting may be years apart, is still as strong, if not stronger still.

After watching this, my 5 years young daughter said she will play drums while I play the guitar and sing!! I dream of that day 🤩🤩 thank you for the beautiful cover ! Sina you're amazing and truly gifted ! You're an inspiration 💕💕
Bravo to the both of you and the entire band. You just created a masterpiece. I was a high school senior in 1979 and in college in the 80’s and saw Dire Straits twice a year for these concerts. It’s great to be old now, to have been young then. They weren’t just concerts, they were life experiences. Thank you for the tribute.

I am a retired U S Army 11B-M. This song means so much to me and my Brothers and Sisters in Arms. I was on many missions in 24 years. Recently I was notified by a Director of NBC documentarys. She told me that many of my BIA had recommended me to be in a documentary they are putting together. I was one of the 88 Americans who took on excess of 1500 Russians at C P Charlie on October 27, 1961. After 50 years those remaining buddies and I are as close as ever. Thank you
Сина, ОГРОМНОЕ СПАСИБО за Dire Straits! Это, наверное, одна из моих любимых песен Марка. Как будто на несколько лет вернулся назад, когда ещё была жива группа.
I remember in high school when this album came out and all the other hits were on MTV, and I said my favorite song on album was “Brothers in Arms”. Such a tribute to men who fought and lost their lives. They thought I was stupid cause the song was boring. Great to see young people appreciate a great song and do an incredible job on it.
I know that I have commented on this before, but I am just having my coffee this morning and listening to it, and it is every bit as awesome as I remembered it to be. I loved the original since it came out, and I loved this cover. You guys did an incredible job. Sina, you know how I feel about you, you’re simply the best there is. You are right about this guitarist, he is amazing on the guitar and the vocals. Excellent job!👏👏👏🌹🌹🌹🤘
What a deep beautiful song OMG and Sina just killed it, luv her😊. I crank up this tune loud , sitting back with a cold beer and cigar, and my neighbors want to know all about what I'm listening to.
Sina, I can't help but feel that Dire Staits UK's decision to have you play along with them, was the best decision they could have made for their career, Their talent is truly remarkable but the world-wide exposure they have received from this video is a testament to your talent and since it's on your channel I can only assume that your father had a hand in this also. They should be thanking you!
Wow I never thought someone else would even try to do this song. Really nice especially David Knight and Sina! Even this cover brings tears to my eyes. Mark Knopfler is my favorite living musician on the planet.

Sina, thank you for taking me back over thirty years to a day I almost never remember any more, the day I was standing in the studio with Dire Straits as they recorded this track on this album. In the early 1980s I worked in a prominent New York City recording studio whose main business was music for TV commercials, as well as movie soundtracks and some regular records. We acquired one of the first Emulator III keyboards, made by E-mu, which was one of the first professional sampler-synthesizer keyboards and the first to offer 16-bit CD quality sound and a high sampling rate. I was given the assignment of actually creating the different sounds for it--such as different instruments--and then programming them into the keyboard. Anyway, this was the keyboard everyone wanted to use but almost no one had one. Dire Straits was over at the Power Station (a big, famous New York recording studio) at that moment recording Brothers In Arms (or part of it) and heard that we had an Emulator-III, and the Power Station called and asked if they could borrow it and would we send someone who knew how to use it. That person was me, so with a co-worker we loaded the keyboard into a taxi and took it over to the Power Station. In a short time I was in the studio with Dire Straits, helping to find the sound they wanted and showing their keyboard player how to use the keyboard. In any case, the strings that you hear on this song, Brothers In Arms, which are very clear in the beginning of the piece, were created by me and played on that keyboard. I usually forget the whole thing ever happened because it was so long ago, but when I occasionally remember, as I did today watching your video, I'm amazed, because of how big that album became. Anyway, you and your friends did a superb job and I really enjoyed watching and listening. Best wishes.
Hi Tyrion this was fascinating for me to read as I also had to programme and play the keyboards for this version! As I had time at home to really work on it, I enjoyed trying to match as close as I could the original sounds from the studio version even though we generally follow the feel of the live rendition. I didn't know you used an Emulator - there is definitely something very distinctive about the modulating string sound that rises in just after the start and that took me a couple of hours to be happy with,, even though my colleagues in the band thought there was something "funny with the string sound" as I generally use a Jupiter-8 type analogue string sound live blended with Hammond. With the Floyd bands I've been in I'm never happy I've got 'right on the nail' with the tones and always tinkered away at it year by year! Many congratulations on your contribution to an album which is consistently strong through every track and a significant legacy.
Great story Tyrion! I have loved this song and album since it came out. Such an introspective and hauntingly beautiful song Brothers in Arms is. Thanks for your contribution!
I never tire of hearing this great song, and it never fails to move me. Great cover, and great drumming! War is futile; all brothers and sisters must throw down their arms and live in peace.
This tune popped up on my FB page today. It's been many months since I've listened to this arrangement. I'm drawn in. I have images in my head of this story. But beyond that is the grand job these artists did with it. Glad I took another look.
Hi Sina, i am late, but wanna thank you, and the Band for this for me personally Highlight. Singer: like twin bro of Mark 👍. You are soo good, Sina, like you are flying on a carpet of love, Talent and blessing🥰❤ You fly away with every Tone of this Song to heaven. Danke danke danke. Ich hör und seh Dir so gern zu. Brothers in Arms was the album that introduced me to Dire Straits, and though it was Money For Nothing and Walk of Life which initially caught my attention, the title track was one of a few from that disc which truly caught my imagination. I was about 12-13 years old when the album came out, and my Sister bought it for me on cassette. I listened to it while I walked to school, during study halls, lunch, and on the way home from school. Listened to it all evening and went to sleep with the Straits in my ear. Man, I wore that thing out. My Dad noticed how much I loved that band, and said, 'Hey, I have a couple of their earlier albums if you wanna take a listen.' And that was that... I've been a hardcore MK/Straits fan ever since. Not that you wanted to read any of that... but... what the hey... felt like reminiscing. Anyhoo, wonderful job on this cover... well done... :)

Riesco solo a piangere quando sento questa canzone ti tocca le corde della mia anima è stato fatto bene cena è sempre grande e la voce e la chitarra 🎸 sono altrettanto meravigliosi❤❤❤😢😢😢
One of the deepest, most powerful songs ever. Right up there with Jackson Brown's "Lives In the Balance". Both songs, now decades old, have just as much meaning today as they did when they were originally written. Hard to believe it's been over 30 years.
One of the best songs in the world for a long time. One of my top 10 still because of this performance. Top work Sina and David. Love this nearly more than the original (only cause the originals are also the Sultans of swing lol)
Agree. I find it nearer the live version then the CD-Version. I had the privilege to saw Dire Straits live at their "Brothers in Arms" and "On every street tour". I feel also: this is almost like Dire Straits with a better singing voice.. Mark Knopfler definitely is a genius, but he is for sure not famous for his singing alone.
I love this musical you all put together, i was drafted in 1970 to Nam, yeah it shows my age but i love great music and performances like you young adults put on. Thank you🙏
Sina, as I was watching this I started wondering what you like to do when you're not making music. Like, what are your other interests? What kind of books, movies, TV shows do you like? What's your favorite foods and so on? I also thought about how incredibly lucky you are to be around so many great musicians with such great equipment and sound systems. You are truly one blessed young lady. Keep your head on straight, resist negative temptations, and keep doing what you love and are so good at. You haven't even scratched the surface of the greatness that's waiting for you.
+1 to that :) Yes Sina I think many would like to know some of your interests besides drumming. Maybe like a "Behind the scenes" or "A day in the life of" type thing :)
I agree w Steve and Stephen, more behind the scenes would be great! We are all humans after all :D Anyway I learned in Germany that people around here don't like to open too much above the average.
I don't know if its a German thing or not, but I wouldn't open up about my private life on the internet to a bunch of strangers, especially if I was a teenage girl. Quite frankly, a bunch of middle-aged men asking for her to do it is creepy.
Sorry if you think I'm being creepy because I'm really not. But oh well. I'm fine just enjoying her videos. I just thought I would throw that out there and that it might be interesting to know what else she likes in life.
Hi everyone. Sina has provided quite a bit of how she came to be in the current musical scene in the video My Musical Background. Stephen I think when you admire a musical hero whether it be Mark Knopfler, Paul McCartney or Sina it is quite natural to want to know a lot about the person and Sina I think has provided a fair amount of detail.
One day before my birthday in 2004 my brother got his wings and went to Heaven a better place. Sina thanks again graciously and respect fully Andrea Lynne Inouye
Sina, few drummers can do subtle as well as you do, great they invited you; this is my favourite song of all time, so I am quite sensitive to its beauty - I really love your interpretation, it flows.

Thank you so much for sharing this amazing story, Tyrion!
Tyrion Lannister , feeling lucky that I have come across you by Sina. man, you are part of the history..
You are very kind, thank you.
Superb is the song now has become with the addition of magic of Sina.
Simply the best drummer I have ever heard she is absolutely amazing god bless her

Sina is a great drummer, she has talent and with a bit of luck she can become a big one. I wish Sina the best of luck and success, all her dreams should come true.
Sina, this is breathtaking, makes me think, time and space, really are an illusion. We as humans keep trying to get it right.

Sina, she’s a beast with those drumz . Awesome talent

You all played a masterpiece. Thank you so much!
Sina, when the tears come, you know you got it right! Thank you! Love the finger picking…only way to get that haunting guitar.
Сина великолепна! Реально, она королева барабанов. Приятно смотреть, как она зажигает.
One of the deepest, most powerful songs ever. Right up there with Jackson Brown's "Lives In the Balance".
Both songs, now decades old, have just as much meaning today as they did when they were originally written. Hard to believe it's been over 30 years.

Wow...."Lives in the Balance"....potent...just was playing it the other day....
MAGNIFIQUE ! La fille à la batterie est aussi excellente ! Bravo à vous deux 💗💗💗💗💗💗
I will never tire of hearing, again and again, this fabulous song.
One of the best songs in the world for a long time. One of my top 10 still because of this performance. Top work Sina and David. Love this nearly more than the original (only cause the originals are also the Sultans of swing lol)
Agreed. I actually do like it more than the original. This is one of the songs that will be played at my funeral.
This is one of the best songs ever written and you guys nailed it! BRAVO!
Ein guter Cognac und diese Music, was will man mehr!
Ficou maravilhoso, vídeo espetacular, tenho 81 anos, sou apaixonado por essa música. Muito obrigado aos dois, parabéns. Desde São José SC Brazil.

Fantastic cover Sina .....just beautiful ! Really deserve the 10 million hits ,🤘👌
We are all humans after all :D
Anyway I learned in Germany that people around here don't like to open too much above the average.
Sina thanks again graciously and respect fully Andrea Lynne Inouye
beautiful, excellent Sina, i love this masterpiece!!Thanks from Botswana.
Such soulful playing from one so young. Simply beautiful Sina!
Sina, few drummers can do subtle as well as you do, great they invited you; this is my favourite song of all time, so I am quite sensitive to its beauty - I really love your interpretation, it flows.
