BEST MANGO STICKY RICE | Sells once a year for OVER 80 Years | Chinatown | Street Wander

In this video I take you to the best mango sticky rice in Bangkok, called Palek Payai Mango sticky rice.
They have been selling for 3 generations now.
The taste is very authentic. They have their own ingredients that have been passed down for over 80 years. And They really pay attention to everything they put in the dish for us. That's why they run out of Mango sticky rice so quickly.

Open 8:30am
Close 5.00 pm
From February - May, they might open a little before February and later than May. You can call and check. You can also call for pre-order.
We were there at 3:15 pm and they just ran out of Mango sticky rice. So if you plan to taste some amazing Mango sticky rice at this shop I recommend you to go before 2pm.
There are two other Thai desserts, which are Sang-ka-yha and Phra-krob.
we love Sang-ka-yha (Steamed custard), order it with the sticky rice and you will love it!
but we didn't like the Phra-krob so much, because it tasted more like food than dessert. But please give it a try, you might enjoy it!
We decided to make this Mango sticky rice video because this shop is so famous to the locals. It has gone on a lot of TV food shows and Commercials, but not so well-known to foreigners. Because the shop isn't located right in the main Street of Chinatown and they only open for short amount of time. So we just want to make sure you guys don't miss this AMAZING mango sticky rice, that most Thai people have.

I always preferred chicken 🍗 sticky rice 🍚. But after watching the channel, I have seen the biggest mango slices and will definitely come early at the shop to try them for my next “homecoming” trip!
