The young lady serving you is superb. A credit to them. Breakfast looks fabulous.
Hi Lee My uncle from WOLVO used to Drink his Tea from his saucer. Way back then in the 70s
the amount of travel you do you should beable to rack up enough airmiles points to get a discounted Upper class seat/bed 👍
Proper full English breakfast definitely 10/10 for me 😋
My grandad used to pour some of his tea in the saucer to cool down the Tea 🍵
Great looking breakfast ,,, 9/10 ,,, the young lady who served you ,, no question, she's a 10 ,,, have a great trip.
I'd give her an 11!
Watching this video as really brought back memories for me Titchfield Park, I miss living in mansfield so much its the best place on earth in my eyes ❤️❤️❤️
Looks very fresh 10/10 for that price and great staff
WOW I'm in love 🥰 with the breakfast and the young lady 😍
That looked the best breakfast yet. Tea with cooked breakfast then coffee after.
What a breakfast and what a place, I'm coming over from sheffield to visit that place, I'm drooling 🤤
Great looking breakfast, with cheerful service. And with a beautiful day too - who needs Tenerife when you can get that at home! 😀
As Partridge states ‘Minor criticism - more distance between the eggs and the beans. Use the sausages as a breakwater’
Hey Lee! You had me going there! I thought you were going to say you couldn't have any more English Breakfasts due to your health. You are correct. You can't get a decent full English in the USA. No beans - controversial. Tea definitely belongs with a full English breakfast. Looking forward to your USA trip with the naughty silver fox. Wondering what he's got in store for you. Hope it's a nice surprise. Take care Lee 👍😘
You can at my house in NJ with Heinz beans and if I know you’re coming I can get Bacon imported from Ireland, no potato cake s real NJ hash browns Lol
Quality food and what a wonderful welcome and great service hope you tipped the ladies.
In Tipperary where I’m from you would usually be served a crusty cob white slice wirh your fry , otherwise rhe two other popular options are home made brown bread and soda bread
That looked the best breakfast you have ever done ..especially tinned plumed tomatoes as a pallet cleanser to finish awesome my friend 😀 😎
Looks a great plateful . Glad you enjoyed it and looking forward to your adventures on the States.
Mac; you never cease to amaze me when as a "middle aged man'', you ask a pretty young lady: "what's your cooked breakfast like"
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great looking breakfast, another 10 today Lee. Loved how thick the toast was. Have a good one.
Wow looked amazing,the food,place, service 10/10 xx
Heh yes! When I was a kid growing up, it was common for people to poor a little of their hot tea in a saucer to drink - it cools it down a tad so the person can whet their whistle while waiting for their cup of tea to reach a drinkable temperature.
The Titchfield Teahouse looks divine, lovely teahouse. Bon voyage, enjoy your adventures and we'll all look forward to seeing your vlogs.
I remember Compo used to drink tea from the saucer in “….summer wine”
Should get Ellie signed up for a few vids, she was terrific, breakfast obviously lovely, tea of course, maybe a latte if it had to be coffee. 👏
What sort of vids ? 😂
Great vlog Lee great breakfast and I love blackpudding 10/10. And safe trip look forward to your vlogs.
Hi Lee, You always have a spring step but I have noticed that the last few video's you have a spring spring spring in your step, I'm happy for you, the English summer is putting a big smile on all of our faces,☀️☀️☀️
She is fit!!!
My Dad always did that with a saucer because the tea cools quicker, place looks lovely
Another good video...breakfast looked lovely...well worth the money...sausage looked like it needed cooking for a bit longer though...you really do make me laugh "today is a very sad day, last fry-up...but im off to see Martin in America for 3weeks"...controversial...lol...have fun and looking forward to seeing the videos...safe journey and have fun.
Auld gadgies used to pour the tea into the saucer to cool it quicker lol, by the way sticking the pinky out is actually considered bad manners 🤭 your breakfast looked great and well deserves the 10/10 👍🏻
Oh Lee, American hash browns have no place in any UK breakfast , same for Italian processed tinned toms . Plus points though , there was black pudding and waitress obviously ensured your sausage wasn’t too bendy !
Totally agree. Either bubble and squeak or sauteed potatoes, and a fresh tomato. Half my guests like fresh, half want the tinned variety, it's a north/south thing - southerners are used to fresh, here oop north it's tinned. Doesn't matter, as long as the person gets what they want and enjoys it. One thing I don't do though is serve hash browns.
I've never been a fan of hash browns either.
@@nige3801 Blackpool, Lancashire, Nige. Grew up in London, never saw a hash brown on a full English until they started saturating the frozen food market, then people realised they cut down the time/cost involved in producing a breakfast, so introduced two hash browns instead of bubble n squeak or sauteed potatoes. The only thing I fry for my breakfasts are the eggs, everything else is either grilled or cooked in the oven and I saute mushrooms/potatoes in butter - can really taste the difference. Nothing worse than a slimy mushroom, a mushroom needs to look cooked and not be leaking water on the plate.
Huge 10/10 from me.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Fantastic food and service, but the sheer number of grocer's apostrophes on that blackboard is giving me the fear.
Need my old English teacher on the case there, she would go mad with incorrect grammar, mind you even now I read stuff and mentally correct it!
@@lparky4409 Ah, a fellow grammar nazi!
Sandwiche's
being my particular favourite.
I think you are the real version of Partridge.
The MacMaster even sounds like a name he'd come up with for the himself.
My Grandfather, who was from Manchester, always did that. He had his mug and his saucer at every meal and that is how he drank his tea. It didn't matter how casual or how fancy dinner was, there he was with his mug and saucer. He came to Canada in 1913 and I guess never left that behind.
Well my grandad used to do saucer thing , not only to cool it but he could make better slurping noises to annoy Nan more ..😜 By the way I am now near Niagara Falls, Canada 🇨🇦 but started working life Vikki ‘s Hair Fashions Mansfield, and would love to hear from anyone still around from then ( 60 s ) …..but not if I owe you money …😉
The older ladies used to drink their coffee in the saucer when I was a kid in Texas....guess it cooled the coffee down a bit.
Wow xon looks alone it's got to be a 10💛💙💛
10/10 from me Lee, what a lovely restaurant and staff
safe journey to USA
Great breakfast; nice t-shirt. Maybe you should head to Montana -- check out Glacier National Park -- the Going to the Sun Road is a fun trip.
Something special about drinking tea out of a china cup and saucer. I was working on a house a while back, builders, roofers, plasterers, the lot, and the owner was a delightful middle aged lady who every morning and afternoon brought out home made cake, a china pot of tea, dainty cups and saucers served on a set table . The look on some of the blokes faces was hilarious as most of them had never had such a refined experience.
That menu is a good price throughout
10/10 from me... and isn't Elle a lovely ambassador for the venue!? A smile that lights up a room, and a great personality. Top stuff.
Now, back to the meal... everything cooked how it should be, tinned tomatoes (a MUST, in my opinion), eggs done right, proper beans... I'd prefer PG Tips (get a proper Manc brew down ya, lad!), and pre-buttered toast, but that's just me.
Looks like a great venue, and lovely surroundings.
Another top review, Lee. Enjoy your journey back to the US,
Take away the hash brown and black pudding and it would be a 9. The easy way around the sauce problem is to take your own. Ellie seems lovely and very welcoming.
10/10 great value great friendly staff makes me proud to be English.
I had coffee with my full English at my b and b in Blackpool this morning lol
Do you live here and own a B&B or are you visiting, Sarah?
@@Herbie-Went-Bananas-Then-Split I'm visiting, having a few days here 😄
@@sarahillingworth2718 I hope you have a lovely stay and are enjoying your breakfasts. Weather isn't so great today - it was trying to storm as of last night, a touch of rain. Fingers crossed it soon clears for you.
@@Herbie-Went-Bananas-Then-Split in a way I hope it rains a little bit, it will cool us down lol.. all the best 👍
@@sarahillingworth2718 It'll certainly save me watering all my plants! :D
That looked a good breakfast. Was that originally a sports pavilion, looked like it. Looking forward to USA again, hope you manage to keep Martin under control!
Breakfast 😋 looked absolutely delicious everything served on the plate top quality ..Has to be a 10 plus wonderful staff in very pleasant surroundings too what's not to like ..? ! 🤗
Lovely young lady serving you. She knew what’s what with the tea for breakfast 🫖
She's a bit of alright!
Ellie has a gorgeous welcoming smile and seems like a very pleasant young lady. Oh yeah and the Breakfast looked lovely aswell 😀
What a lovely place Breakfast looked epic..9.9 taking off a point for the tin tomatoes 🤢 Safe travels Lee see you in America 🇺🇸 x
The Titchfield Thunderbolt 🚂 Breakfast 🍳 very nice 👌
Someone needs to get a cloth and erase all of those incorrect apostrophes from their menu board!
Don't even get me started...
I love my cousins over the pond but will never understand the attraction of beans for breakfast 😜
However, food is a 10, location is 12/10, and Ellie's smile is off the charts 😉
Ellie seems so cute and bubbly and she so pretty
I remember flying on TWA. The stewardess asked if I'd like some TWA Coffee. Not for me I replied but I'd love some of your TWA Tea....
Definitely 10.1
My granddad used to drink his tea from the saucer
Brilliant Lee and 10 have good 👍 flight ✈
Drinking tea from the saucer cools it down ! What is it with you and Darren, either one of you or both it seems are always in Teneriffe ? Don't understand. Hopefully one day you will get to Christies, Thames Ditton, Surrey. DO IT ! Fish and chips off the charts !
Please do more live vlogs especially with Martin👍😀
The park and tea room looked lovely, especially on such a gorgeous day! I'm glad it's only the last breakfast, clarified, "For a while..." Never get bored of seeing great venues and their fry ups! If it was lunch you were going for the ploughman's looked great value, on the menu! A pot of tea with a full fry, always! 10/10 all day long!
Love a ploughmans. 👍🏼
Love a ploughmans. 👍🏼
I’m in Los Angeles from the 13th of August, what country are you in then Lee, lol. Love to meet you in the states my friend.
Probably be in Lanzarote then. Have a look at the got dog vlog I did. You have to go there. Pinks. Amazing. Hope to meet you one day. 👍🏼
My favourite Scottish breakfast in Benidorm washed down by a few pints of cider. Enjoy America last time in New York tried to find a Golden Corral buffet restaurant sadly none if they are now in New York recommended giving it a go. Virgin best so far for transatlantic flights.
My grandmother drank her tea from a saucer.
At one time it was quite common for people to pour tea into the saucer, then drink it as I think that it was meant to cool the tea down a bit. A solid 10 for the breakfast.
I think a lot of workman used to do that so they got back to work quicker as it cooled the tea down.
@@lparky4409 would workmen been given a cup and saucer?? I’ve seen loads of people cool their tea by pouring into the saucer.
Probably a tin one.
Ahh Lee you make me feel so homesick of the English summer. Great video and what a beautiful place....somewhere to be proud of in your home town. Safe flight to the US. See you on the next one!!
Beans and back bacon non of this dried up streaky bacon who get in the US.
When I lived in New York for a month, did I miss a British breakfast DEFINITELY
As an American, I would say our common breakfast foods are windy enough without adding beans to the mix.
Came across your channel a couple of weeks ago. Firstly checking out your review of your electric car. I brought a Hybrid car! But also enjoying your other content.
It really looked delicious Lee. I will be looking forward to your trip.
I’ll be interested in your opinion of the premium cabin / seats Lee
Yeah. I'm looking forward to that. 🎥✈️🎬🕶🎬
Maybe try a full English in the USA and see how it compares? There are a few places in Manhattan that serve it and many around the country. Safe travels and I am very glad I found this channel. -Naples, FL
I think I saw Alf Garnet pouring his tea into a saucer and drinking it from that. I couldn’t work it out either. Why would anyone do that?
This looks like a lovely place. Great food, and very reasonable prices. Can’t think of anything better than sitting outside there early in the morning with a newspaper, and a full English.
Please don’t ever stop doing English breakfast videos, your enthusiasm for the meal always comes through. Watching this, I’m already craving a full English on Saturday. Want some fried bread with it. The full works.
Fried bread!!!! Get in!!! 😃👍🏼👍🏼
@@TheMacMaster I have toast, fried bread, AND bread and butter with my full English at a cafe I go to sometimes. It’s great, couldn’t get a more traditional full English. Bread and butter is good to mop up all the grease, sauce and bean juice.
Proper full English, looked brilliant, the only thing I miss not living in Uk. We buy Yorkshire tea on trips back and bring it to France. Great vids MacM, keep it up.
That looks spot on pal 10.
What a lovely place and great food looks a 10
Great channel, thanks for the content. 👍
Try breakfast at the Skylight Diner 34th West, pancakes are amazing.
Oh My God, someone take me to Mansfield for an hour, I'd love every morsel of that breakfast.
That looks like decent plate of food. Great service, hot plate, always a bonus, even the crockery is lovely.
Mr Roberts poured the tea into the saucer to cool it down if it was too hot. Well known thing to do down south. He would only have done that until the tea in the cup was cool enough to drink.
Hi Lee, I’ve asked a few times, but when your in New York could you try out the hot dogs at Grays Pappya. Would love your take😁😁
It is on my list. Upper East :0)
Gorgeous girl and the food ain't that shabby 😋
fanatastic Lee.. 10.10.10 all day long. that 0nes going to be hard to beat! and what a locacatinin + Ellie beautifull.. & Yorkshire tee New york (America) not even close ever!!!
It's tea for me (I don't like coffee).
Should beans be served on the plate?
Compo from Last of the Summer Wine drinks hes Tea from a saucer sometimes which annoys Ivy the Cafe owner 😄
Mmmm, apart from the fungus, I’d have that!
Perfectly cooked & those plum tomatoes, num num! Looking forward to the US videos coming up! Nice job Lee!👍😊
Del Boy in fools and horses used to drink tea from saucer !!!!!
In northern Sweden they pour the coffe in the saucer and drink it from the saucer. And take a sugar bit in the mouth first.
Superb breakfast! Agreed, Flip the eggs! 🍳 ✨ Ellie is a credit to their business! Well done, Service with a smile! 😃
My Grandma used to sup her tea from saucer you brought back a lot of memories there Lee.. and I've Binged your channel last 10 days due to me having covid cheers for keeping me sane ish 😁
Hey Richard. Get well soon.
What a cracking young lady lovely to see, thats a 10 for brekkie.
It cools the tea down, that’s my man talking 👍
Well done Lee again on finding pukka places to eat looked amazing she was gorgeous as well
From a Scottish lass, impressed you eating and enjoying the black pudding lol! Looking forward to watching you and Martin. 🥰🌞🥰Xxx
Thanks June x
Great looking Breakfast 👌🏼 and what a lovely place to sit and eat it 😊
Great looking breakfast, possibly the best yet! 😋
Drinking out of the saucer cools the tea… in NYC take the trip to Ellis Island it passes the Statue of Liberty and is a great Vlog too…
Hi Lee, whilst in New York, have a walk up the High Line up to the Vessel, its a lovely walk !!
That breakfast looks very nice, good value and nice place. I would give it an 8 or 9. Ellie is a lovely lass as well 👍
