I had the same reaction after I rode Steel Vengeance. I was legit shaking because of how good and intense it was. I was so speechless, that I had to take a seat to soak it all in. 😂😂😂
Sometimes CP will just baffle you with its bad ops and closures...but I still think its #1 of all time
Airtime Thrills most college kids leave by mid August. During busy season, mid June to mid August, the ops are great. Early and late season they are understaffed because Sandusky residents don’t want to work there.

It's always packed. They had like 4 tables open with no one in them and they said there was a 45 min wait. Lol like wtf

Just an FYI, The Matterhorn is the exact same ride that used to be at Knott's called Greased Lightning. It was taken out along with The Pacific Pavillion (dolphin show) and Whrilpool (indoor Scrambler) to make room for Perilous Plunge to open in 2000.
Loving these videos. I also made my first trip there on august 3rd this year after waiting 19 years to ride millie. The park is truly a near religious experience for thusies...and yes steel vengeance is damn near perfect...especially at night.
haha nice, i did the same on july 29/30. gotta say i was more pumped for millie than SteVe.

One time I was standing in line for Millennium Force at night near the unloading station, when I heard blood curdling screaming from two women in the front row of a train that just got back. I looked over and saw that they were covered in hundreds of bugs each. Night rides on Millennium are amazing, but don't open your mouth. Ask me how I know.

Felice Graziano Try May or October. Much cooler weather and not nearly as many bugs. Also, kids are in school so there’s not as many people.
Where/how do the bugs gather? I’ve been caught in the middle of a mayfly swarm once before in Mississippi and they made the white and yellow exterior of a McDonalds pitch black. I know that bright lights attract them, but other than that are they mostly just flying around CP or do the cling to coaster track/supports? I’ve heard that night rides of SteVe are legendary but I’m terrified of bugs hiding within the structure and plunging into a cloud of them during the head chopper moments. I’m going first week of June if that matters

Its is good but not as good SV IMO (& most), especially since DW neutered the launch.
The bugs really take away from night rides here...

On the day TTD closed it broke down for an hour and opened up for 15 minutes I was second train after it broke down on the front row then I was next for a second ride but people went up the exit got a rollback then made them get off and it was broken since it just opened recently.

Park Bros you need to get over here some stuff was really short lines except Steve maverick n Millie had access passes with time to get in line with social distancing and mask wearing entire time but it was hot today but still worth it hey park bros I got all of cedar point nanocoasters eventually I got done with all of frontiertown coasters next 2 will be Millie and rougarou guys they are doing a 500 ft RMC t-Rex for 2022 Drew Valravn spells out Ohio if you come in 2022

The park is really is 'eh'! Lol 😁 but the back of the park is the best. I love everything about Maverick, too. Especially back row, and especially at dusk.

That blows SteVe was down all morning. I went opening day this year and it was down for the first 8 hours of the day. Is this typical? Is it ever open for early entry? I'm going back Oct 6th. Looks like you guys had an amazing time there. Love the channel, keep em coming!
I rode during early entry twice in early August. When I returned later in August, they were no longer opening SteVe until noon at the earliest. During those times construction crews were visible on the track.
The forces on the ride are kind of insane. It will be interesting to see how all of these RMC coasters hold up over time.

Since the trax on Gemini are close to each other enough that you can literally hand money back and forth to people on the trains....HENCE.....the money train.....makes the ride experience more interesting/exciting.

I've been to both a few times over the past couple of years. I agree with you. It's close but Magic Mountains line up just edges out cedar point in my opinion.
If u count the fact that u cant bring any bags with u in line, making u buy lockers & no water bottles in line & ride closures all day & no shade or misters in queues & the fact the only time its open is when its packed makes this park second to MM. And honestly I perfer loops to "airtime hills" and MM has the most loops in the world.
@@mfl8276 I bring water in a bottle or cup into every line. Closures for weather are the flipside to the amazing coastal setting of the park, and are far rarer than the wonderful enjoyment of the views. There is shade and mist for most of the rides with long wait times (though I agree there could always be more shade for the front of the park). There are many great days to visit CP and it is unfortunate that you haven't been able to enjoy one.
I love Steel Vengeance and I have it in my top 5 but I don't know that I'd call it perfect. The drop on Iron Rattler blows away the drop on SteVe and the dive off the quarry wall in my opinion is also better than any element on SteVe. SteVe is longer but the elements didn't do as much for me.
Me either. I like maverick way more. It just seems more intense and compact
Fiesta Texas quarry wall is a very cool element for that whole park. I look forward to visiting some day.
Steel Vengeance is way better. It's relentless
