- Small, but pretty mighty! This keyboard weighs just over 8 lbs, can be battery-powered or plugged into an outlet, folds into a convenient size, comes with a carrying case, is MIDI and Bluetooth compatible, and has many more helpful features! It's super affordable, and makes a great practice instrument if you're traveling! The sound is just average, but for what it's designed to do, I think it does a fine job. I think it would work well for visiting those who cannot get out.
Absolutely! That is a great idea!
Yes!

My thinking exactly
Natalie this is a super idea and I agree with all the suggested comments where it would be useful.
Wow , it is so amazing ma'am natalie that's the perfect if it use to Sunday School kids room or etc. Perfect sounds! ❤️
I immediately thought about a missionary who needed a piano as he/she was overseas.
I’m amazed! Thank you!
That’s so neat! Love it!
Great. Thanks for sharing.😊
Natalie--I really believe that one could build a keyboard from coconut hulls and firewood, and you would make it sound great!!
As a youth we often go singing but we can't be accompanied by a piano, this would be wonderful for that
I agree, this unit could be quite handy for certain church ministries, like outdoor Bible School events or elderly care centers. The tone sounds very electronic & a bit metallic, and perhaps future models could improve upon that, but otherwise the portability is convenient. 🙂
Question: Are the keys full-size (with the traditional octave span)?
I’ve had this keyboard for a couple of years now (I think it’s an older model). As a flight crew member and an intermediate piano student learning hymns, I highly recommend this keyboard as a temporary substitute to keep up with certain skills as a keyboardist, especially simple sight reading and chord learning while “on the road”. I would never use it as a replacement for a acoustic piano or a good weighted keyboard, though. What sold me was it perfectly fits in my airline approved carry on bag! No more excuses for not practicing daily! Ha!
Great vid, Natalie, love the hymns! I’m guessing midi capability could greatly enhance the sound, yes? My biggest concern is durability. Do you think this keyboard could hold up for a gigging jazz/pop keyboardist? Thanks for rec!!
Bear in mind that the "tinny" sound is likely largely due to the small inbuilt speakers.
Playing through a decent pair of headphones, or a good external amp and speakers (or powered speakers), will likely give a much better sound nearer to an actual piano. In fact, the sample-set (sound the notes make) will have been taken from a recording of a REAL piano anyway.
Seems like there's no pp pedal - only a sustain, but for around £150 - can't complain!
It's good that it does give 88 notes of the correct spacing.
Perfect for someone who doesn't have storage space for the normal unfolded keyboard length.
Agreed!
You can combine 2 sounds together ejp piano + string
Can any tell me if this has a transposer and if so, if it shows the number transposed to on a screen?
Just found your channel. Would you be willing to play and sing A Sinner Like Me by Charles J Butler. I’ve scoured the internet and it is not commonly recorded apparently and it’s such a sweet hymn.
Natalie, you could play Schroeder's* piano and make it sound concert-worthy. 😊 (*Peanuts cartoon reference)
where are the speakers?
Hello,
I'm a piano player
Do you recommend this keyboard for a long trip ? Can it replace a piano ? Especially the keys are they strong and helpful for practice and not losing progress or just very light like an Org ?
Thank u very much
I mean I can see those in senior living or nursing homes, really enjoying this. It’s definitely easier to move. However, I have a keyboard that is easy enough to move around and does sound better. Still not as well as my piano but decent enough.
My dad used to take a small (but still bulky) portable piano to the municipal jail for jail services; this would have been a wonderful alternative.
Natalie, What piano would you recommend for beginners who do not have a lot of space? Thank you. 😊
It depends on budget, really! Can you send me an email at natalie@natalieraynesmusic.com and I’ll give you some detailed information?
Brand?
Great to take to our convalescence homes.
It would be perfect for that!!
Hello mam, how does the keys feel? Similiar to decent digital pianosnor having a heavy feel mimic close to church organ?
No, very cheap, light-weight. They’re just plastic keys.
Are the keys loud when you press them. Will it bother others around you if you are playing while wearing headphones?
It would be an audible sound, yes. That's true for any electric keyboard.
What about voice students ? Choral sectionals learning music?
Lots of impromptu music applications? Yup.
Absolutely! I thought of so many more reasons it could be used AFTER I posted the video. :) People commented, suggesting its use in assisted living or nursing home residences, playing for shut-ins or elderly saints, use for church plants starting out in small spaces, etc... So many places where it is practical!
What was the clicking sound? Was it the hinge joint?
While I was playing? That would just be the keys. They’re semi-weighted. The hinge joint is actually super strong.
Can it be used as a midi controller?
Yes!
Does it have an organ sound?

It does have a lot of sounds. I don't think it transposes.
How long should it take to charge?
I’m not sure… a couple hours at least.

That's a picnic piano! 😃🤭
It would be perfect for a picnic! 😅😅
Where can I buy this piano?
Amazon. Links in the product description!
Take to nursing home or prison ministries. I think it sounds good but could use some more speakers.
Wonderful idea! And yes, with the bluetooth capabilities, it would be easy to connect to much better speakers.
Wonder if Yamaha could copy folding piano but keep their 'grand' sound.
Good idea! I wish!
Could you not add a Yamaha portable synth, midi connect & use this keyboard as your controller? If possible, you’d be making some great sounds with portability for a small fraction.
Where could I find a piano that could fold 8 times and fit into my cargo pants.
I looked at this keyboard for a while. Thanks for review of it…
I am resolved
No longer to linger
Torn by the world's delight
Things that are higher
Things that are nobler
These have allured my side
I will hasten to him
Hasten so glad and free
(So glad and free)
Jesus greatest highest
I will come to thee
I am resolved
To go to the savior
Leaving my sin and strive
He is the true one.
Nursing home ministry
Absolutely.
