Thank you for sharing. As someone who grew up in the States in the 90's, this show has such a special place in my heart. As hard as life can sometimes be and get, I always find solace, comfort and a friend in this show. The maturity with which the themes are discussed, showcased and explored is just.. mind blowing. The stories, the characters, the music, the themes, everything about this show is just magical, and I'm grateful to have had a chance to experience it so many times. Still my go to to unwind with late at night after a long day!

I adored this show growing up. What really makes it special is how it depicts childhood; being a kid isn’t always fun. Childhood can sometimes be disappointing or even downright sad. Life isn’t perfect for anyone and this show captures that brilliantly.

THANK YOU for bringing back this segment, Chris. I’ve missed it SO MUCH! It’s wonderful to hear you talk about Hey Arnold!, b/c it meant a lot to me growing up in the 90s as well. I haven’t watched the show in almost 20 years, and I still have vivid memories of so many episodes.
(Anyone that hasn’t watched the show, I won’t spoil episode details)
Four in particular that I’ve always remembered are:
-The Vacant Lot - the kids search the city for a vacant lot to play baseball off the streets.
-Mugged - Arnold learns martial arts in response to being, well, mugged.
-Arnold’s Christmas - the Christmas special where Arnold gets Mr Hyunh as his Secret Santa.
-The Flood - Arnold’s class & teacher are trapped inside PS118 from an intense flood storm.

I watched the “Hey, Arnold Jungle Movie .” I like how it concluded the series. “Rugrats Go Wild!” Not as much. It felt more like a “fan service “ movie where they did a boring crossover with the “Wild Thornberries.” And “Rocko’s Modern Life- Static Cling” felt more like a slightly longer episode compared to feeling like a movie!
